The ultra-modern Villa Canola is an impressive 2-bedroom holiday home just 8km from Puerto Banus in Marbella. With a style that’s perfectly in keeping with the luxurious lifestyle at this famous marina, Villa Canola gives you the use of a beautiful pool and sauna and offers some incredible views across the area and out to sea.
The large glass windows of this property bring the outdoor and indoor areas together. The pool terrace is fully visible from the indoor lounge, and provides seating and dining areas beside the pool, along with sun loungers and barbecue.
This glamorous, south-facing villa can accommodate up to six adults. Inside, the main living space features ample seating, a TV and even a grand piano. Natural light streams into this space, giving it an open feel – and it’s fully air-conditioned too.
The kitchen with breakfast bar forms part of the same open-plan space. All the appliances are there – dishwasher, ceramic glass hob, microwave, freezer and coffee machine among them. Enjoying your meal outside in the fresh air is likely to prove irresistible.
Villa Canola features two en suite bedrooms, a double and a twin, as well as sofa-beds in the living area. The bathrooms are beautiful, but perhaps best of all is the Scandi-style sauna cabin, ensuring an especially relaxing break.
Situated in private gardens, the house is located in the Benahavís district around 7km from the sea. It’s close to a local golf course, around 600m away, and just 3km from amenities like shops, restaurants and bars.
The centre of Marbella, around 12km away, gives you all the shopping and entertainment you could want, and don’t miss the Old Town to feel a little of the city’s history. The waterfront area of Paseo Maritimo provides a good alternative to the marina at Puerto Banus, when you are looking for a great place to eat. You may even catch one of Marbella’s many festivals or cultural events while you’re in town.

The southern city of Marbella remains one of Spain’s most enchanting. While it serves up all the luxury and high-end living that it’s famed for, there is much more to Marbella than that.
The beach life is undoubtedly a big draw for visitors, with golden sands and calm seas ideal for a family visit. Some beaches cater more for the adults, with beach clubs and bars. Wherever you are, you’ll have great facilities nearby, including restaurants and sports, either in or near the water.
Marbella hosts regular festivals too, with the summer months particularly fiesta-packed. Look out for the Starlite Festival where musicians from around the world come together, and the week-long Marbella Feria, full of fun and flamenco.
The charming Old Town area of Marbella has all sorts of boutiques, bars and galleries in the little streets leading off Plaza de Naranja. The beautiful La Alameda Park is nearby, close to the countless waterfront restaurants of the Paseo Maritimo. Tapas and seafood are big around here, and you’ll be able to choose from the most casual street food to the highest quality fine dining.
For a taste of the high life, head to Puerto Banus and hang out with the jet-set at the marina. The shopping comes with quite a price tag around this way, so if you’re after something more reasonable, head for a shopping centre like La Canada, which has more than 100 familiar names including a particularly good selection of fashion brands.
If you are looking for culture rather than consumerism, Marbella has something for you too. Check out international contemporary art at the Museo del Grabado Español Contemporáneo, or perhaps head to Museo de Bonsai – as the name suggests, there are lots of little trees to see.

There are many more places to visit not far past Marbella. Fuengirola’s Bioparc is another great choice for animal lovers, while Tivoli World in Benalmádena offers plenty of thrills on its theme park rides. For something more cultural, discover the many museums of Málaga, covering everything from art to automobiles and archaeology. Alternatively, you could just get sliding and splashing at Aquamijas water-park – there really is something for all tastes on the Costa del Sol.
