Can Sota is a fantastic home for big groups or families visiting the Costa Brava. Located just outside the popular town on Lloret de Mar, its peaceful setting is the perfect start to your holiday. The villa can accommodate thirteen guests across six bedrooms and has lots of communal spaces for entertaining. Boasting a private pool and terrace, both with great mountain and sea views, it is easy to lose track of time in this wonderful space.

Ideally suited for larger groups visiting the region, the villa has several shared areas and lots of outdoor space. With balconies and large windows around the property, you can really appreciate the amazing views of the surrounding mountains and sea. The traditional décor is modest but has everything you may need to spend some quality time with your loved ones.

Entering on the ground floor, guests will find an open plan living and dining area. This space has two sofas for relaxing into and a coffee table offering a space for playing board games. A dining table occupies the other end of the room and is great for enjoying breakfast together. Walking through the living room to the fully equipped kitchen, the guest will find a further small dining table, perfect for a grabbing a quick snack. The ground floor is also home to the first three bedrooms, compromising of a double bedroom and two bunk bedrooms with additional single beds.

Passing through the living room to head upstairs, a very similar layout and style can be found.  An open plan living and dining space has access to the terrace and offers another great space for hanging out in. Being the first floor, the elevated views of the surrounding mountains are wonderful from this spot, so be sure to soak it all in. There is also a second fully equipped kitchen, so there is no shortage of space for cooking some big group meals! The final three bedrooms are located on this floor are made up of two double bedrooms and a single bedroom.

The villa's outdoor spaces are fantastic, and there are several separate spots to enjoy throughout the day with different shades and views from each. The private pool is framed with a terrace, ideal for sunbathing. There is also a covered outdoor dining area in addition to the covered barbecue area. So, there are plenty of options for settling down for an al fresco dinner.

Nestled in the hills outside the popular town of Lloret de Mar, Can Sota is a peaceful home in the quiet residential neighbourhood of Serra Brava. The villa has fantastic vistas of the surrounding mountains and even enjoys a sea view, and you are sure to be at ease as you settle into this great spot. The local area has a supermarket, whilst the beach and restaurants can be found just a few kilometres away.

The nearest beach to the villa is Cala Canyelles, and it is a gorgeous sand beach surrounded by cliffs and pine trees, and well worth visiting. The beach is a popular swimming spot and has some water sports on offer for those seeking an adventure. Try your hand at water-skiing or maybe some kayaking, and the shallows are also amazing to explore with a snorkel, with the rugged terrain perfect for the sea life. After a fun day in the water, enjoy a meal at the beachfront restaurant, famous for its paella, it is well worth trying!

Lloret de Mar is one of the most popular towns in the region, known for its nightlife, and it is a vibrant and exciting place with lots going on. During the summer, the town is full of energy with the Summer Festival. Throughout August there are a series of concerts around the town, ranging from modern pop to classical Spanish, the air fills with the sound of music and laughter. If you are visiting during this time, be sure to look ahead at what tickets are available, as the events can be very popular. Lloret de Mar is also home to lots of bars and restaurants, wander the streets before stumbling across quaint restaurants serving tapas and local wine, there is no better way to delve into the local culture. After an amazing meal with your loved ones, you can continue onto the beach and enjoy a drink on one of the beachside bars, listening for the waves as you gaze out to sea.

There is no shortage of activities in the region, its dramatic landscape and beautiful beaches cater to exciting sports and relaxing days alike, with an abundance of culture to enjoy in between!

Children will love staying at Can Sota, and the villa is well suited for families visiting the region. The villa has lots of little spaces for older children to find some privacy, whilst the whole family will love the outdoor spaces. The private pool is always a hit with kids; you could even pick up some inflatables from the local shop for hours of extra fun! The barbecue area is also great for families, what better way to spend quality time together than around a huge barbecued feast.

Many of the beaches in the area have a ‘Blue Flag’ status, so you can spend a day on the sand knowing the children can play safely in the water. Head to Cala Canyelles for a fun day out, with water sports, a restaurant and other facilities it is a great day out for the family. It can get quite popular in the summer months, but there is no shortage of other beautiful beaches along the coastline well worth exploring.

Perhaps the best way to explore the beautiful coastline is on a boat tour, and the guides will take you to some of the coasts hidden coves and secluded beaches, giving you and your family the chance to enjoy the serenity of the calm sea. The guides are very knowledgeable and can offer some amazing insights into the local history, giving the little ones a real cultural experience.

For an exciting day out, treat the children to a day at Water World. The water park in Lloret de Mar is very popular with families as it offers a wide range of water rides for all ages. Older children can keep riding the adrenaline-fuelled rides, whilst little ones can play in the pools and calmer slides. The park has lots of facilities for families to stay the day, so make the most of the park is just a ten-minute drive away.

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €150 charged to client’s credit card by the owner upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time Between 4.30 - 8 pm.
Departure time 10 am.
End of stay cleaning included? Extra €130, payable to Oliver's Travels with the balance payment. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Sheets and towels can be hired on site for an extra cost of €8 per person per week (paid locally).
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Not included in the rental price, extra €8 per night, paid locally.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in the rental price.
Minimum stay 5 nights during July & August. 3 nights during other periods.
Changeover day Saturday during peak season. Flexible during other periods.
Pets welcome? On request only and with prior agreement with the owner. If accepted, a pet supplement of €5 per pet per night will apply (paid locally).
Smoking Allowed? Not permitted.
Tax Tourist Tax included in the rental price.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
