Casa Matea offers a fabulous location on the outskirts of Moraira and less than a 10-minute drive from the sandy beach, ‘El Portet’, making this villa the ideal base for a trip to Spain. The villa is cosy, full of charm and would be the perfect choice for a family holiday away.
The villa can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 spacious bedrooms; all the bedrooms have comfy beds, air-conditioning and plenty of storage, so you can bring all of your home comforts with you! On the ground floor, there is a double and a twin bedroom, alongside two full bathrooms. Upstairs guests will find an en-suite double bedroom and the beautiful master suite.
The suite offers a luxurious king-size bed, a large en-suite bathroom, dressing area and elegant double doors that lead out to a large balcony with open views across the sea. This gorgeous bedroom offers couples space to enjoy some alone time away from the rest of the group, soaking in the holiday vibes and spending quality time together as a pair.
Back on the ground floor, a bright entrance hall leads through into the spacious open-plan living and dining room with patio doors leading out to the pool terrace, so guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor living all in one! The room is bright and airy, with comfortable leather sofas, a flat-screen TV and a large wooden dining table.
The separate kitchen features everything you need to prepare delicious family feasts, or even try your hand at some Spanish classics, with room for several guests or even kids to get involved in the food preparation!
The outdoor space is sublime, offering everyone space to take time to relax, with the private infinity swimming pool, comfy sun loungers, and a few outdoor dining areas, all with distant sea views. Guests can cook up a feast on the barbecue and dine al fresco under the covered terrace, all whilst basking the warm sunshine.

Once a small fishing village, now a popular resort, you can be sure of a warm welcome in Moraira. On the southeastern coast of Spain, roughly halfway between Alicante and Valencia, this Costa Blanca gem is a relaxing place to spend some time, with an attractive marina and easy-going beach life down at the Playa de l’Ampolla.
The town is very much geared up for visitors, so you’ll find everything you are likely to need for an easy stay. You have banks and shops just a stone’s throw from the seafront and, of course, many restaurants, cafés and bars to tempt you. Your only problem will be deciding which of the waterfront terraces to dine on; such is the abundance of choice in Moraira. Quality is good too, with many of the town’s restaurants recommended by Michelin, and some of them star-rated.
Festivals held throughout the door will give you a taste of real Spanish culture, and the surrounding area offers the chance to visit traditional villages as well as larger resorts and cities. Among the closest places of interest are pretty Jávea (certainly worth an excursion) and, slightly further up the coast, Denia with its ancient castle and ferry links to Ibiza and Mallorca.
If you fancy heading inland, there are few more beautiful spots than the mountainous Serra de Bèrnia I Ferrer, perfect for hiking amidst stunningly rugged scenery – so be sure to take your camera as well as your walking boots. You have another towering peak just north of Jávea too, in the form of Mount Montgó – the wonderful natural park which bears its name stretches all the way to the coast.
