Located in the hills above Calpe, Villa Clemente offers spectacular views across the countryside and down to the sea. This private villa and pool has the best of both worlds, surrounded by peaceful countryside but only ten minutes’ drive to Calpe centre.
Sleeping six people, the accommodation is spread over two floors. One of the twin bedrooms is en-suite, and the remaining twin and double rooms share an additional bathroom. The spiral staircase leads you up to the best room in the house – a large open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. This is a fantastic space where everyone can come together for socialising and sharing meals. The lounge ends in the most incredible curved wall, from where the view can be admired again and again through several large windows. Light floods into the entire room, making it airy and inviting.
The outside covered terrace is perfectly placed off the kitchen-diner for eating al fresco at every meal. And the cool shade offers a welcome retreat from the Mediterranean sun, without losing sight of your view. There’s even a barbecue for true outdoor living.
Down a few steps and you’re on the pool terrace. Pick a sun lounger, lie down and let your cares drift away. The Rock of Ifach, soaring up from the Calpe coastline, is a stunning sight. This is both a regional and national landmark, so revel in your spectacular view of it from the comfort of your private terrace! Your pool will wait for you, until you’re ready to take a refreshing dip. Or just jump straight in!
Another way to cool off during the long pool-side afternoons, is the outdoor shower. Then, find a spot of shade to read your book or succumb to a siesta. You are in Spain, after all.
When you can drag yourself away from the luxury of your private villa and pool, the sights and sounds of Calpe are only five kilometres away. It’s a fascinating mix of modern tourist attractions, nature reserves, fabulous beaches and history.

- There are three steps between the house and street level, unfortunately making this villa unsuitable for wheelchairs
- Internet Wi-fi is charged at extra cost. This could be the excuse you need for screen-free time!

Villa Clemente enjoys a semi-rural setting, surrounded by villas and Mediterranean plants. The Calpe area is one of the greenest in Costa Blanca, thanks to the reliable sunshine and cool sea breeze. Take a walk through this beautiful countryside and look out for orange and lemon trees.
Calpe is just ten minutes in the car. To say this town has something for everyone is a bit cheesy, but it really does! It’s one of the more popular tourist destinations along Costa Blanca’s coast and there’s no denying Calpe’s energy and the endless list of things to see and do.
It’s well-known for the award-winning beaches and marinas dotted along its eleven kilometres of coastline. From here you can try fun activities on the beach or water skiing, diving, sailing and windsurfing from the marinas. Some of Calpe’s best seafood restaurants are also found here. Try the local fist stew while you’re here (Arroz a banda). If you have a sweet tooth, jijona (nougat) is made from locally grown almonds.
The town centre runs alongside the beach, so you can take a break from topping up your tan for shopping or lunch. Head a few streets inland to discover the old town centre and Moorish quarter. Or visit Roman and Iberian archaeological sites. Calpe has a long, rich history and cultural tours of the town are available.
Penon de Ifach is the nature reserve surrounding the impressive limestone rock you’ve been studying from your terrace back at Villa Clemente. Rising to 332 metres above the sea, it dominates the shoreline. Reaching the top is possible but only for the brave!
