For elegant luxury set in immaculate grounds, large groups will love Masia Sant Andreu. Located in the quiet town of Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, this lavishly restored farmhouse is just 35 minutes from Barcelona and 5 minutes to the beach. The nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms are sure to impress!
Upon arrival, guests will immediately notice the view. The vista from the garden and terraces is simply breathtaking―lush, green mountains and a crystal blue sea. This is also a great vantage point to take in the whitewashed walls of the farmhouse and the size of the garden. Here you’ll find an 8m x 4m swimming pool, mature trees and several alfresco dining terraces.
Once you step inside the property, the décor will continue to make you gasp. This historical home combines modern amenities with romantic flourishes and antique decoration.
The sleek, fully equipped kitchen includes a breakfast island for casual coffee gatherings. A spacious dining area is then accessed through double doors. This chic spot could also function as a work hub for corporate retreats as Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
In the opulent dining room, there is seating for ten at a long marble table, with an elegant chandelier above. The room is decorated in a luxurious style with thoughtfully selected furniture, ornaments and paintings. High ceilings and large windows give the room a naturally bright outlook.
This room also provides a well-stocked library and, beyond it, a seating area for reading. In fact, there are several relaxation areas like this throughout the property, including a recreation room with a pool table and a traditional bar. All have original features such as wooden beams, fireplaces and exposed stonework, but with modern touches such as a flat-screen TV and large, comfortable sofas.
There are eight bedrooms at Masia Sant Andreu, which can be configured in different ways depending on your group size. The property sleeps up to 22 people in double, twin and triple rooms (most are en-suite). They are all beautifully furnished, with light flowing through the shuttered windows. Many come with seating areas, and all have been decorated to a sumptuous standard.
The six modern bathrooms have different discerning touches, such as rainfall showers, deep baths and double sinks.
Outside, guests can enjoy the private swimming pool or relax on one of the many loungers. The garden is beautifully manicured, with mature trees providing shade and several terraces for alfresco dining.
The property is located in the relaxed town of Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, near the Maresme coast. The beach is moments away, and you are 10 minutes from designer outlet shopping at La Roca Village. Barcelona is only 35 minutes from Masia Sant Andreu with its renowned architecture, cuisine and nightlife.

About the surrounding area of Masia Sant AndreuMasia Sant Andreu has a fantastic location, right between the Maresme coast and the mountains. You could be in Barcelona in 35 minutes or the beaches of the Costa Brava in 90!
The property overlooks the mountains and nearby Montnegre and El Corredor Parks. These are known as the ‘forests by the sea’ and are great places to hike and spot Neolithic dolmens and medieval churches.
While the Costa Brava is close by, Masia Sant Andreu is within minutes of the Maresme coast, which is less crowded. The nearby marina of Port Balis also has a beach, pleasure boats, shops and restaurants. Other popular beaches are Les Barques and La Estació, loved by locals for their calm seas and water sports.
Everything you need is close to the property, including a train station with links to Barcelona. Some of the best golf courses in Catalonia are also very close by. Golfers of all levels will enjoy the renowned Club de Golf Llavaneras. Its lush course boasts Mediterranean Sea views. Afterwards, a meal in the onsite restaurant seems like a fitting way to end the day!
Thirty-five minutes away from Masia Sant Andreu is world-famous Barcelona. Two thousand years of architecture, some of the best food in Europe and every type of entertainment make this city a must-visit.
A good way to familiarise yourself with the city is to take an open-top bus tour. They all stop at the most famous landmarks and are a fun way to get around. The top of the list of historical sites to visit has to be the neo-gothic Basilica of the Sagrada Familia. Despite being unfinished by the architect Gaudi, it is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most recognisable buildings in the whole of Spain.
Barcelona is a compact city, and it’s easy to explore different neighbourhoods. For Catalan culture, try Gracia, full of quirky shops and eateries, from vegan cafes to Michelin-star restaurants.
Barceloneta is the closest beach to the city centre. It’s also one of the best, with a lifeguard, Wi-Fi, bathrooms and showers. The old harbour and promenade are also good places for a stroll and people watching.
The Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic) has the oldest buildings in the city and is full of bars, restaurants and squares. You could easily spend a day here, just to explore the labyrinthine streets!
Masia Sant Andreu’s location is an enviable one. Surrounded by the mountains and the sea you are close to beaches, shopping, restaurants and city life too!

Best Suited For: All AgesThere’s so much room at Masia Sant Andreu for families or even groups of families! Bedrooms 1 and 2 are particularly well suited for parents and their kids. Both are en-suite, and Bedroom 2 also has a baby cot. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and leads into an extended space with a single bed. This would be ideal for parents with a slightly older child. A high chair is also available.
Outside, kids will love the space of the large garden and, of course, the private swimming pool. Inside there are two family areas, the recreation room with its billiards table and a beautiful sitting room with a flat-screen TV and comfy sofas.
The coast is easily accessed from the property, and kids will love beach days at nearby Maresme. Local beaches are renowned for their calm waters, soft sand and water activities. There are lots of restaurant choices here too, or pack a picnic for the beach!
If your children love water parks, they are in luck! You’ll find several on the Costa Brava, about 90 minutes away. Two great parks are Aquabrava in Roses and the Universal Studios Port Aventura theme park.
In Aquabrava, you’ll find Europe’s biggest wave pool and a children’s zone with mini slides, waterfalls and a large green area for play.
Universal Studios has a beach club and five themed areas with different rides and restaurants. The kids will love meeting Woody Woodpecker, Popeye and the Pink Panther, who are regular park hosts!
Barcelona loves welcoming families. A fun way to get around is by boarding one of the open-top tour buses and stopping at essential sights like the Sagrada Familia and Montjuïc.
The Barcelona Aquarium is fantastic marine leisure and educational centre. Kids will love the Oceanarium, the only one in Europe. An 80m long underwater tunnel runs through it, allowing visitors to walk amongst sharks and many more species!
There are even more animals at Barcelona Zoo, in the Parc de la Ciutadella. About 2,000 animals live in what is one of the oldest and most modern zoos in the world. It prides itself on the humane care given to all its animals.
The highest point in the city is Tibidabo, also known as the Magic Mountain, which has its own theme park! This is a great day out with rides for family members of all ages. A really fun way to reach it is via the funicular railway system, which goes right up to the summit.
Kids will love Masia Sant Andreu. Whether spending a day together at the pool or visiting the nearby coast, Barcelona or day trips to the Costa Brava, your family is sure to have a holiday to remember here.

Stunning villa
This is the most stunning villa, I ran a yoga retreat for 18 people and it was perfect! Only thing to note is the bedrooms upstairs are adjoined and share an open bathroom, which could be an issue for people sharing. But still it was such an amazing place! Thank you so much

A glorious week!
Wonderful villa - perfect for a large group! We were on a work retreat and the dining room is excellent for meetings. The gardens are beautiful and there are lovely walks in the hills.
