As you enter the apartment, you’ll immediately be greeted by a bright and cosy living area bathed in natural light from the large patio doors that lead out onto a small private balcony. The open-plan living and dining area has been tastefully decorated with simple but comfortable furnishings and plush textiles, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
There is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone to relax and unwind after a long day on the slopes, with comfortable sofas gathered around a large flatscreen TV and a large dining table perfect for enjoying meals together.
Beside the dining area is a modern kitchenette, complete with a coffee machine and all you need to prepare meals to your liking.
The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to four guests across one bedroom and a cosy mezzanine. Both rooms are decorated in a modern and stylish manner, with a combination of warm colours, wooden accents, and luxurious bedding. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep and plenty of rest before hitting the slopes again the next day.
The main bedroom features a double bed while the mezzanine offers two singles that can be pushed together to form a double if desired, and both rooms share access to a communal bathroom and separate toilet room.
When staying at Apartment Morgane, one of its highlights is its exceptional location, situated directly across from the slopes, providing easy access to the ski lifts, and just steps away from the resort centre where you’ll find a brilliant selection of retail outlets, restaurants, cafes, and bars.
What you should know…
- The apartment is located on the upper floor of its building with no elevator access which may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues
- The kitchenette, while well-equipped, is relatively small, so if you are planning on doing a lot of cooking, you may want to consider this before booking

The village itself is situated in the Tarentaise Valley, with the Espace Killy ski area on its doorstep, and is easily accessible from major cities in France, such as Lyon and Grenoble, as well as from other European countries.
To get to Val d'Isere, you can fly into Geneva or Lyon from most major airports, both of which are then a three-hour drive away from the resort centre. From the airport, you can take a shuttle bus, hire a private transfer, or rent a car to complete your journey to Val d'Isere. Alternatively, the village is accessible by train, with regular services from Paris and other major cities passing through Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the nearest train station located around 30 minutes away from Val d’Isere by car or bus.
Once in Val d'Isere, you’ll find Apartment Morgane to be a prime location for exploring the area's world-class skiing and snowboarding terrain. The apartment is situated directly on the slopes, providing easy access to the ski lifts and pistes each day. The Resort
Val d’Isere is the oldest of the French ski resorts and a gleaming icon at the end of the valley where the residential town lies. Surrounded by what is arguably some of the most beautiful mountain landscape in the world, the chalet village is centred around a charming baroque church. It’s a lovely place for wandering, taking in the cosy atmosphere and spending quality time with your favourite people.
Val d’Isere is composed of three skiing sections. These are La Daille, Val d’Isere centre and Le Fornet, all of which are linked by a free shuttle service. Alongside Tignes, the resort is part of a wider ski area known as Espace Killy, and a lift pass will get you access to its entirety. Ski season in both resorts stretches as long as May.
Thanks to its high altitude, Val d’Isere is probably your most snow sure option for skiing in the French Alps. The village rests at 1850 metres and its peak on top of the La Grande Motte glacier is 3456 metres high. Sixty per cent of the resort’s pistes are set above 2200 metres, meaning that the skiing is consistently good but on rare occasions, bad weather can cause the slopes to close. It’s also important to keep in mind that Val d’Isere isn’t the best choice if you’re just finding your feet on the snow, and beginners may well find themselves challenged. On the flipside, Val d’Isere is one of the top choices for experienced skiers and snowboarders, with plenty of challenging black runs (such as the iconic Face the Bellevarde, where the 1992 Olympic men’s downhill was run).
And to go with some of the most exciting and picturesque skiing in France, down in the village you’ll find some amazing bars and restaurants. What better way to celebrate conquering that tricky black run than by indulging in some equally entertaining après-ski? On the mountain itself, you can start your evening with DJ’s and live music at La Folie Douce until the lifts close and then work your way into town.

At the apartment, kids will find that the living room in the apartment is equipped with a flat-screen TV and plus sofa which is great for keeping kids entertained between activities and when winding down in the evenings. The apartment also offers free WiFi, so children can stay connected with their friends back home or stream their favourite shows from anywhere within the property.
Outside of the apartment, Apartment Morgane’s ski-in, ski-out access means that parents can easily get kids up and out onto the slopes with minimal fuss. Once on the slopes, children can spend hours playing in the snow or testing their skills on the world-renowned ski runs that surround the property.
Another excellent feature of Apartment Morgane is that it’s located right beside the ESF ski school, a fun-filled learning experience for kids looking to improve their skiing skills or build their confidence on the slopes. With expert tutors and games designed to make learning fun, the ski school is a fantastic place for kids to learn, play, and make new friends.
Additionally, Val d’Isere offers plenty of non-snow-based activities for kids to enjoy around the resort, including skating at the large ice rink, swimming at the indoor swimming pool, or enjoying a family-friendly movie at the resort’s movie theatre.
