Villa Cutelo can be found in the picturesque village of Afife overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the northern coast of Portugal. This recently renovated villa is a pristine, two-storey, detached family home boasting stunning sea views. Villa Cutelo can accommodate up to six guests, plus two children, and is perfect for a large family holiday or a group of friends' get-together.

Enter Villa Cutelo at ground level, where there is an impressive open-plan living space bathed in natural light from floor-to-ceiling picture postcard windows. The inviting seating area features an L-shaped elephant grey leather sofa, complemented by a sideboard, cable television, and a wood-burning stove. A sleek stainless steel kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest appliances you will need to cater for your holiday. The breakfast bar with stools and a dining table offer a convivial space for shared meals.
Three well-appointed spacious bedrooms can be found on this floor.

Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, Bedroom 2 features two single beds, and Bedroom 3 offers a comfortable double bed. There is a shared family bathroom, complete with a bath with a shower, bidet, vanity unit, and WC. Ascend the ladder to the upper floor, where there is a charming children's room with a low sloping ceiling, two single beds, a shower and WC, as well as a handy working desk space.

Outside, a covered terrace commands stunning sea views and hosts sun loungers, a soft seating set, and a BBQ, creating an ideal space for alfresco relaxation and dining. Guests enjoy private use of a 600m2 garden with a manicured lawn, orchard, and a white wrought iron seating set for four. Additionally, four adult bicycles and one child's bicycle are provided for exploration around the local area.

Shared facilities encompass extensive grounds populated with mature trees, a step-entry 9x5m swimming pool, and steamer-style wooden sun loungers. Relax in the hot tub before cooling off under the outdoor shower.

The villa is equipped with modern amenities, including complimentary Wi-Fi and air conditioning, a shared washing machine, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, and that must-have morning coffee machine, whilst families with infants will appreciate the baby amenities. For convenience, a public parking area adjacent to the villa ensures hassle-free arrivals.

Villa Cutelo can be found snuggled in the picturesque coastal village of Afife, near the coast of northern Portugal. Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto is the closest international airport, around 80-90 km away; a scenic drive through the Portuguese countryside will take you to your holiday home. Within walking distance, you will find local shops and minimarts stocked with provisions for your stay, as well as cafes and restaurants where you can sample the local cuisine.

A twenty-minute walk will take you to Afife Beach, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and snorkelling. The region is renowned for surfing, and Afife provides opportunities for both learners and experienced surfers. Nature lovers can explore coastal trails with scenic views of cliffs and lush landscapes.

A short drive to the holiday hot spot of Viana do Castelo is well worth the trip. Take the funicular railway to the top of Monte de Santa Luzia and admire the panoramic city and sea views and the Basilica of Santa Luzia.

The nearby city of Viana do Castelo is rich in history, featuring the Sé Cathedral and a charming riverfront. Keep an eye on local events for festivals and cultural experiences. At Villa Cutelo in the charming village of Afife near Portugal's north coast, children can revel in a lot of family-friendly activities. The nearby organised pristine beaches of Afife and Carreço have golden sands and gentle waves, perfect for building sandcastles and paddling. For your older and more adventurous kids, the north Portuguese coast is renowned for its excellent water sports, especially windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, and kite surfing, not to mention swimming and snorkelling.

Sports enthusiasts can enjoy activities including hiking and cycling along scenic trails, canyoning, a game of tennis, or horse-riding across the dunes.

Take a short drive and have a family day out in the city of Viana do Castelo, explore its historic architecture, visit the Toy and Maritime museums, take the funicular railway to the top of Monte de Santa Luiza, and admire the views, marvel at the fish in the Aquarium, take a cruise down the Lima River, or simply sunbathe on the beach and swim in the sea.
