For a stay in sheer contemporary class upon your escape to Montenegro, look no further than Villa Dobrislav. This five-bedroom holiday-home makes the most of its outstanding location to offer you unrivalled vistas as well as modern-day comfort and relaxation throughout your stay!

Villa Dobrislav has been finished to the highest standards in modern-day architecture and interior design. Indoors, the latest designs with marble, wood and stone have been plastered across floors, walls and features and chic furnishings and decor serve to keep you comfy in the simple yet exquisitely crafted villa. Areas are basked in sunlight from floor-to-ceiling patio doors and windows, whilst outdoors, the patios and terraces have been designed flawlessly to ensure that immaculate settings are continued throughout the estate!

On the ground floor, you can sweat out your toxins and revitalise in the villa's very own sauna! Three of the five bedrooms in this dwelling are located here, all housing super-cosy double beds in pleasantly large bedrooms, which give breath-taking views of the Adriatic Sea and beyond from the comfort of the room. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, whilst the remaining two share use of a family bathroom.

Upstairs on the first floor, guests are given spaces that are best suited to bring all ten guests together as one! Bathed in glorious sunlight from the patio doors and the windows, the classy lounge area offers plump sofas and jazzy seats to keep everyone relaxed. Add the television for entertainment or background noise, or the intimacy of the fireplace to ensure that evenings spent indoors are unforgettable! Behind, the cook of the party can take full advantage of the fully-equipped, pristine kitchen offering everything you need to feel at home whilst you prepare spreads! Serve meals on the dining table that sits adjacent to the kitchen!

On the top level, you have the choice of two more bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, each housing double beds. So large are the rooms, that additional seating has been placed in one of them to provide you with a personal lounge area! As polished and refined as the other quarters, you can sip morning coffees or evening nightcaps as you gaze across the sea on the balcony accessible here!

Outdoors, step into a freeing and simple patio! Glass has been used to separate areas, as well as provide protection against the heights. And whilst the heights may prove scary to some, everyone can agree the vistas from the elevated position are simply captivating! Kick-back with a cocktail or two and watch the sea and its activities! For cooling relief from the sun, you can splash around in the outdoor pool, built deep into the patio to provide even more shade!

Oliver's Insight...

A once hushed secret, Montenegro is becoming discovered more and more amongst travellers as a jewel on the Mediterranean. Its position off the Adriatic Sea means you have miles upon miles of coastal lines and a country enriched by the sea with an abundance of natural beauty. With tantalising cuisines and more historical sites and landmarks than you can count, you will soon discover why this country's popularity is expanding at a staggering rate!

Budva is one of the most naturally stunning places within Montenegro, with green and black mountains as backdrops for the bewitching waters that sit on its coast. Known for its collection of over fifteen beaches, Budva includes a host of places to dine and try Montenegro food, as well as a buzzing atmosphere which offers a variety of things to do both day and night, on land and the sea!

Your location sees you in the town and in proximity to everything you will need to have an unforgettable getaway! Start your adventure with a day of fun in the sun at any of the beaches that line the coast. Choose from built-up and vibrant beaches of pebbles or sand or a mix of both and unbelievably crystalline, multi-coloured waters! On stretches such as Slovenska plaža Beach and the two sections of Jaz Beach, you can get yourself a sun-lounger and a parasol and kick back with refreshments from the bars and cafes that line the front of the sands. Or for more tranquil spots and to beat the crowds pick spots like Bečići beach and you can even take a trip to St. Nicholas Island, where small coves make it a great place for romantic beach settings or exclusive, memorable moments with the family!

Pick from your choice of restaurants on the shorefront or in the town. You can dine on the scrumptious delights the native cuisine offers from Burek for breakfast, to a mouth-watering Njeguski Steak for dinner! If you crave something a bit more familiar, the town hosts an array of diners offering international recipes to satisfy taste buds.

In the daytime, visit the cultural sites that are scattered through the town such as the square in front of Santa Maria del Punta Church. At night head to the main street for some of the liveliest clubs and bars that the country has to offer, where you can dance until the early hours of the morning!

About the Region & Getting There

About Budva

Budva has been celebrated for its remarkable Riviera for decades! Not only are the beaches pristine and spoilt with turquoise waters, holiday-goers are continually reminded of this destination’s antiquated past wherever they look. With mesmerising streets in the Old Town and Monasteries rising over the symbolic Adriatic rooftop-slates, tourists unite in this glorious city for treasured holidays.

First stop, the Beaches! Budva’s coastline stretches for over 20km, so you will have to meander out of the city’s medieval walls to enjoy your choice of seventeen beaches. By far the most popular of these beaches is Jaz – here you will find lots of water-based activities that extend over the 4km shore. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, a day trip to the charming island of Sveti Nikola is urged. Not only will you experience stunning scenery, which locals liken to Hawaii, but you’re likely to see deer and rabbits. If the heat and sand is all becoming a little too much for you and the family, make sure to visit Aquapark Budva. This impressive facility not only has restaurants, shops and great views, but it also has a superb range of water related activities.

During the day, feel free to explore the Old Town. There’s lots to see and you will learn about this unique town’s history, so visit the numerous museums, the Citadel and Santa Maria del Punta Church. After some sightseeing, stretch your legs along the promenade that acts as a walkway between Budva and another of our favourites - Sveti Stefan. Perhaps stop off half way down this coastal boulevard and familiarise yourself with the Montenegrin food, which includes the well-known Njeguski Steak (schnitzel filled with Njegusi prosciutto & cheese), Buzara (shellfish & prawns) and Ispod Saca (a hearty stew). If shopping is your thing, we suggest a trip to Petrovac in order to explore the dozens of unusual boutiques that are still spoilt with prominent coastal views.

Budva does have a recognised nightlife scene, so if you fancy a cocktail in the evening then check out Mogren Beach or Maltez. Festival goers are drawn to this part of the world during late August for the intimate Sea Dance Festival.

Budva has seen some developed over recent years, but that hasn’t taken away from its 2,500-year history. If you want to be wowed by architecture, beaches and wonderful food & drink – we think you’ve found your next holiday!

Prior to Booking

As many of our regions in Montenegro are coastal, there can sometimes be some adverse weather. This tends to only really occur outside of the Peak Season though. When thinking about booking your holiday to Montenegro, please consult Foreign travel advice for more information.
