Region
Baja California is a region of vibrance and diversity. A narrow peninsula that stretches from the south-west coast of the United States into the Pacific Ocean, this Mexican state is a unique blend of arid landscapes and stunning coastlines, making it a sought-after destination for nature enthusiasts, adventure seekers, and beach lovers alike. From the bustling border city of Tijuana to the tranquil shores of the Sea of Cortez, Baja California offers a rich mix of attractions that cater to a wide range of interests. The region has a rich cultural heritage, influenced by its history of indigenous communities, Spanish influence, and its close proximity to the United States.
Cabo San Lucas, situated at the southern tip of the peninsula, is perhaps the most famous destination in Baja California. Known for its vibrant nightlife, luxury resorts, and iconic rock formations like El Arco, Cabo San Lucas caters to those seeking both relaxation and excitement. The Medano Beach offers a lively atmosphere with water activities such as parasailing and jet-skiing, beach clubs, and stunning views of the iconic arch. Sport-fishing is another major draw, with the waters around Cabo teeming with Marlin, Dorado, and other game fish.
While Cabo San Lucas represents the glitz and glamour of Baja California, the neighbouring town of San José del Cabo offers a more laid-back and cultural experience. The historic district of San José del Cabo features colonial architecture, art galleries, and a charming central square. The Estero San José del Cabo, an estuary teeming with birdlife, provides a peaceful escape into nature.
Towards the eastern side of Baja California, the Sea of Cortez beckons with its azure waters and diverse marine life. Here you’ll find the city of Loreto, a gateway to the pristine islands of Loreto Bay National Marine Park. Kayaking, snorkelling, and wildlife watching are popular activities in this marine sanctuary, where visitors may encounter dolphins, whales, sea lions, and a variety of fish species. The Sierra de la Giganta mountains provide a stunning backdrop, and a perfect setting for outdoor adventures, including hiking and off-road exploration.
The Sierra de San Pedro Mártir National Park, situated in the central part of the peninsula, is a haven for hikers, campers, and stargazers. The park is home to the Picacho del Diablo, the highest peak in Baja California, offering challenging hikes and stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The clear night skies make it an ideal spot for stargazing, and the National Astronomical Observatory of Mexico is located within the park.
Baja California invites exploration and promises a memorable journey for those seeking a taste of Mexico's natural and cultural wonders. With a stunning combination of natural beauty and diverse heritage, the region is a dynamic and appealing destination, inviting exploration and promising a memorable journey into one of Mexico's wonders.

We would go again!
The house is beautiful. Our family of 8 enjoyed the paddle boards, golf cart and the pool. The house was very comfortable and all the accommodation's you would need. Veronica, the property manager, arranged our taxis and excursions. All great! There are neighborhood restaurant's and stores that were so close and had most everything we needed with the exception of produce so get your produce in Loreto. The restaurants were very good. We would go again!

We can't wait to return.
This home was perfect for our group of 4 adult couples. The home is beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. All bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and their own private restrooms. The location was great and we always felt safe. The airport was a quick 10-minute drive. Our only problem was that we were only there for 3 nights.
Communication with Veronica was great. She arrived shortly after we checked in to make sure we had no issues and kept in touch with us throughout our stay.
We can't wait to return. -
A quiet, peaceful place...
If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to visit, look no further than Nopolo. This house is right on the beach and close to plenty of restaurants, and stores. There is a hotel nearby, but a very simple property. A lovely community, very quiet. The house itself is beautiful, with all the fun water toys to enjoy. If you love to paddleboard, this is your place! There is plenty of room to spread out, perfect for 2 or 3 couples. Great pool and jacuzzi, nice outdoor space to enjoy the stars, and perfect weather. Great kitchen if you love to cook. Fully stocked with all of the necessary appliances. We look forward to our return to Nopolo, and hopefully another visit to this fantastic property.
