Palazzo Portinari is a recently renovated historic palazzo, featuring five-bedrooms for ten guests in the heart of Florence. Blending elegance with the earthy humility of old-world Italy, it’s cocoon of tranquillity and splendour.
Warm and bright, the interiors are a space of high vaulted ceilings, rustic cement walls and billowing curtains. It boasts earthly, cobble-stoned décor, soothing colours and monochromatic palettes for an ambience that is strikingly inviting.
Stepping in, you’ll be impressed by elegant XVIIth century halls with their beautifully carved columns and statues. A graceful, vaulted staircase takes you to the upper floors.
Lounge on the roof terrace, while soaking in its lush, tropical feel. Comfy day chairs, alfresco dining and scenic views promise a relaxing siesta.
The living room is drenched in natural light, lending a feel of serenity to the space. Tropical indoor plants all around are a balm to sore eyes. Bask in the warmth of the stony fireplace. Settle down on the ample-sized sofas and take in views of the S.Stefano Church from one side and tower of Palazzo Vecchio from the other.
Catch up your favourite shows on the TV or browse through the well-stocked book self. An especially popular feature of the home is its luxurious Turkish bath.
Enjoy hearty breakfasts at the 16-seater dining table. Although for a more exotic setting, there’s also an eat-in kitchen with steel-finished counters, bar stools and modern appliances. A toaster, oven and refrigerator are also provided.
All five bedrooms stay faithful to the impressive décor of the rest of the house. Bedroom 1 features a king-size bed with access to the terrace, and Turkish bath. Bedroom 2 also has a king-size bed, TV, terrace access and en-suite bathroom with a tub and private seating area. While bedroom 3 is equipped with twin beds, bedrooms 4 and 5 have king-size beds. All three feature en-suite bathrooms.
If you’re working remotely, make use of the complimentary internet. Enjoy a wealth of amenities, including a guest powder room, laundry cupboard and attic kitchen storage. Stay comfortable no matter the weather outside, thanks to the air conditioning and heating systems. A DVD player and music speaker are also provided.

Leonardo da Vinci Museum boasts inventions and experiments of the great artist and inventor. Here, they can learn about science and art through interactive exhibits such as building and testing flying machines and creating their own frescoes.
Encounter majestic tigers, lions, giraffes and elephants at The Florence Zoo, with also hosts educational programs, activities, animal encounters and guided tours.
