Enjoy the most idyllic of vacations when you stay in the historic Art Nouveau Pulsatilla villa, set in a private park overlooking Lake Garda's shores in Salo, north Italy. This stunning, three-storey detached house has five beautifully appointed double bedrooms. It can accommodate up to ten guests, ideal for a fabulous family holiday or a group of friends’ get-together. Meticulously manicured grounds and gardens surround the house, home to a new private swimming pool.
Pulsatilla has been recently renovated and now includes many modern amenities, including complimentary air conditioning in three bedrooms and Wi-Fi, Astra satellite television with Netflix, and secure parking for up to five cars. The exterior red brick and saffron yellow washed walls are an architect’s delight, whilst the stylish interiors are bright and sleek, furnished with a clever combination of traditional and contemporary pieces, original art adorns the walls, and sparkling chandeliers swing from the ceilings. A charming concierge team is on hand to arrange anything from private chefs and babysitters to airport transfers and memorable excursions.
Enter the property, where there is a hallway with a stunning floating central staircase connecting all the floors. The elegant sitting room has a white sofa, armchair, coffee and side tables facing a flat-screen smart television. The adjacent dining room has a formal dining set and chandelier, perfect for splendid indoor entertaining. The all-white kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest appliances you will need to cater for your stay, including that must-have Nespresso coffee maker. The first of the bedrooms can be found on this floor, with a double bed. A separate shower room with a washing machine completes this level. Take the stairs to the first floor, where there are three bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a bathroom with a shower. In the attic room, under the eaves, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a small bathtub.
Step into the gorgeous grounds and gardens and admire the lovely lake views. Stroll amongst the ancient trees and find the fountain with a lily pool and a statue by Bodini. Swim in the Roman step-entry swimming pool and relax on the surrounding sun loungers under a shady parasol. Play a game of table tennis before afternoon tea at the soft seating spot. At sunsets, take your place at the ten-seater outdoor dining set and feast alfresco with dishes freshly grilled on the barbeque.

The nearest international airport is only thirty kilometres away in Verona, whilst Milan and Venice are a bit further away. The villa is near the centre of Gardone Riviera and Salo, where you can find provisions for your stay, welcoming cafés, bars, and restaurants, and a selection of exclusive shops.
Within a short walk of the villa is Lake Garda, with its beautiful beaches and selection of watersports, most notably Spiaggia Baia delle Sirene, Lido di Lonato and Spiaggia degli Ulivi in Salo. Enjoy a game of tennis on the lakefront courts, and hike or bike the well-marked trails. Take a boat trip to Isola del Garda, a private island with a stunning villa and garden, or take the ferry to visit the towns of Lake Garda.
Visit Scaligero Castle and the Grottoes of Catullus to see the ancient Roman ruins. Go further afield and spend the whole day in Verona, Milan, or Venice for the ultimate culture fix.
In the evenings, go down to the lakeside and wine and dine on local delicacies in the most romantic settings.

Splendid
Pulsatilla gave us splendid moments, the swimming pool, the garden, the table tennis were invaluable for my children's enjoyment. In 5 minutes we were at the beach, shopping or at the restaurant. Super comfortable!

Enchanting
We really appreciated the entire organization of the agency who followed us from the first contact until our departure, the house was very clean and everything worked perfectly, of course the Villa is not new and the floors creak a little, but you can also see it from the images and we were looking for a villa with this style, a little retro and characteristic but in an enchanting place.

Perfect place
Pulsatilla is the perfect place to visit the lake, clean and organised, in a few minutes we were on the lakeside of Gardone Riviera where we tried excellent restaurants, from there we then took the ferry and visited Sirmione and Riva del Garda...Lake Garda is always a guarantee!
