What you should know…
- Due to being located on the island of Capri, a ferry is required to reach this property. Ferries from Naples to Capri depart from two ports: the Molo Beverello and the Calata Porta di Massa. Ferries for Capri depart from Sorrento's Marina Piccola port. High speed ferries for Capri depart from Positano, Amalfi, and Salerno. Routes are only active during the summer from April through October.
- Please note that due to the property’s terraced outside grounds, families with small children should take extra care.
- Due to the villa’s location, hiring a car is highly recommended to discover the island conveniently.
- An extra guest can be accommodated on the single sofa bed in the sitting room adjacent to the master bedroom on the first floor. Please enquire for more details.

About the surrounding area of Villa I FaraglioniNestled on the sun-kissed island of Capri in the heart of its main port town, the exquisite Villa Piazzetta beckons you to a holiday experience that seamlessly blends luxury with the allure of the Mediterranean landscape.
Marina Grande is just a short walk away, and plenty of restaurants, boutiques, bars, shops and supermarkets are here. What used to be an ancient fishing port is now a bustling port with regular ferries and boats, and it’s a pleasant place for a stroll. In the town, kick back in the sand on Spiaggia Marina Grande or venture further to discover the nearby aristocratic residences, many of which were occupied by artists in the 18th century. Villa San Michele is full of ancient art, made famous by a book written by its former owner, Dr Axel Munthe. Other landmarks include a ruined castle, Castello Barbarossa, Museo Casa Rossa, and Scala Fenicia – a steep, lengthy staircase leading from the marina to the mountain's peak, with scenic views of the island and sea.
From the villa's location, the azure sea and rugged cliffs are easily accessible, offering opportunities for boat trips to uncover hidden coves and grottos. Notably, the Blue Grotto is the most renowned one, while Grotta Bianca and Grotta Rossa are also worth a visit. The nearby Arco Naturale is an alluring coastal path with an enormous arch and viewpoints at different heights from which you can admire the beautiful landscape. If you can’t get enough of the views, ride the chairlift to Monte Solaro for panoramic views. Forte Orrico – the fort that Napoleon's army first took in their conquest of Capri – is also worth the hike, with sweeping views of cliffs and boats cruising on the azure sea.
