About the surrounding area of Villa GeorgiosPerched on the mountainside overlooking the Ionian Archipelagos, the villa offers stunning vistas with Zavia beach just a ten minute walk away and Mikri Ammos and Mega Ammos beaches a five minute drive. Also, a 5-minute drive away, the quaint fishing town and port of Sivota beckons for morning coffee by the sea and a glimpse of the local fishermen's daily catch. It's from Sivota's port you can arrange with the concierge a private boat charter to explore Greece's secluded beaches and hidden coves along the west coastline.
Just a short distance away by boat lies Paxos, perhaps the epitome of Greek island charm, along with its neighbour Anti-Paxos, renowned for its small vineyards and crystal-clear waters. Hop on a sea taxi, pack your swimsuit, and don't forget your camera!

Getting There
How to reach Sivota
There are three ways to reach Sivota: by flight, ferry and car or by flight and car.
By plane and car: Sivota is on the mainland of Greece, getting there either fly to Preveza Airport (code PVK) which has many international flights, and drive approx. 100km, Ioannina Airport (IOA) has domestic flights plus the drive is 165km to Sivota or fly to Corfu, get a taxi to Corfu port, then get a ferry to Igoumenitsa, then pick up a car or taxi to Sivota, approx. 25km

If you’re up for a day trip, why not head to Epirus’ capital, Ioannina. A cultural treasure chest, stepping foot in the capital is equivalent to leaping back in time. The old quarter houses a 6th-century church, the Cathedral of St Athanasius and boasts views of a mountain range that turns lilac come sunset.
