The flamboyant, palatial Villa Saronida is located in the Athens suburb of Saronida, overlooking the azure Aegean Sea and the islands of the Athenian Riviera. It is a very privileged, exclusive location and the villa offers exceptional outdoor space and a whole host of fabulous treats. With eight incredible bedroom suites and superb entertainment spaces, this villa is perfect for celebrations and special events. It offers pure luxury with two staff on duty 24/7 to ensure you have a fabulous time.

Saronida is located in the Attica region on the Saronic Gulf coast, 31km from Athens city centre, 27km from Athens International Airport, 10km from Kalyvia Thorikou and just north of Anavyssos. It is a wonderful beach resort with an excellent dining scene and lots of entertainment. Located on the western foot of the Olympos Hill, the villa has been built into the hillside and offers astonishing panoramic sea views.

Villa Saronida’s interior design is phenomenal. It is lavish and grandiose in every respect with sumptuous furnishings, an exquisite art collection adorning the walls and a range of jaw-dropping themes. You will discover enormous chandeliers, vast, ornate mirrors, plenty of gold and black tones together with sleek, modern touches. There is a fully equipped gym with a hamman, a uniquely shaped, infinity edged swimming pool and various lounge areas. The villa has been masterfully built over 4 levels with the entrance being on the first floor.

The first floor is home to a beautiful, open plan living space with gorgeous cream sofas and chairs. There are three seating areas, one surrounding a seriously impressive fireplace, and two facing floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to the first floor terrace. One of these is more formal with traditional furnishings and the other is modern with a stunning corner sofa arrangement adorned with luxurious scatter cushions. The views are amazing from both areas. The whole space is drowned in natural light and the wooden floors are covered in beautiful, rich rugs. The grand fireplace adds a very grown up feel and, together with the attractive recessed ceiling and superb artwork, guests relax in a very smart, lavish space. You will honestly feel as though you are in your own personal art gallery!

The upper floor boasts a sensational master with its ensuite bathroom, a queen room, again with an ensuite and a jacuzzi, a spectacular dressing room with an incredible range of shelves, hanging space and drawers and an atmospheric, pretty children’s room which is built into the eaves. This room is a child’s dream bedroom with its own living space and dressing room. Each of the bedrooms is a swanky haven with lavish soft furnishings, stunning, panoramic views and beautiful furnishings. The bathrooms are exquisite with ornate mirrors, superb tiling and very plush fittings. There are a range of tones, but black and gold features significantly along with brown tones and marble. Some feel seriously ostentatious!

Villa Saronida’s ground floor is the pool and main terrace level. It is home to a superb open plan living area and another master bedroom suite. With glossy cream floors accessorised with stunning rugs, a vast dining table with luxurious black velvet chairs which match the black sofas, this enormously generous space is another cream and black wonder. A beautiful contemporary fireplace separates this ornate space from a sleek, glossy, contemporary kitchen, lounge and dining space. The breakfast table overlooks the terrace and the modern, corner sofa enjoys delightful terrace and pool views. In addition to this, there is an additional black and white professional kitchen with huge American style appliances and a sociable breakfast bar. This incredibly sophisticated villa will never stop surprising and impressing you! The villa’s wine cellar enjoys character and style.

The lower floor is home to one queen bedroom with an immaculate ensuite bathroom and two further queens with ensuites and access to a private courtyard terrace. One of these rooms boasts a jacuzzi in the bathroom.

Huge doors open from the ground floor living space to a lavish terrace. There is an independant guest house with another stunning master, ensuite and lounge. The uniquely shaped, generous swimming pool is surrounded by luxury loungers and parasols as well as a shower cabin. Guests can dine alfresco in sensational style using the villa’s built in barbecue and outdoor kitchen space. The outdoor furnishings are just as stylish as the interior furnishings. Guests can access the gym and hamman from the terrace. Below the swimming pool is a lawn with spectacular sea and island views. It is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your holiday read as well as the glorious panorama.

You will find it very hard to leave this swanky palace and its special treats. Some of the rooms are theatrical to a degree and all are superbly comfortable. You can be on the Athens Riviera in minutes where you can relax, enjoy waterside dining and watch the glorious sunsets. You can also be back in Athens very quickly to explore all that it has to offer.

Villa Saronida is located in the smart Athens suburb of Saronida. The Athens Riviera enjoys wonderful seascapes, fabulous restaurants and an impressive array of shops. The beach is beautiful plus there is an open air cinema and puppet theatre which is lovely. There are dive schools and watersports companies such as Aqualized Dive Adventures where you can dive with highly trained staff, snorkel and take boat tours.

Half an hour from the villa, guests can visit the Cape of Sounion and the Lake of Vouliagmeni. The Cape was first mentioned in the Homer’s Odyssey as the place where King Menelaos stopped during his return from Troy to bury his helmsman, Phrontes Onetorides. You will discover the ancient Sanctuary of Poseidon, the Temple of Poseidon and the village at the fortress.

The Lake of Vouliagmeni is an important Natural Monument formed by geological changes millions of years ago. The water temperature of the lake is between 21 and 27 degrees so it is a brilliant place to swim with therapeutic properties in the water.

Close to the villa and Saronida is the sensational Beach of Mavro Lithari and the village of Anavyssos. Both are worth visiting.

Athens holds so many wonders including Syntagma Square with the Neoclassical Parliament which was originally the residence of King Otto, the first king of modern day Greece. It was constructed between 1836 and 1847. You may see the changing of the guards who are called Evzones, full-time soldiers who guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The Temple of Olympian Zeus is one of the biggest ancient temples of the Greek Roman Empire. The ancient Acropolis complex is comprised of several temples, of which the most famous is the Parthenon, dedicated to the Goddess Athena. The Acropolis Museum is fascinating and also worth a visit. One of the most picturesque areas of Athens is Areopagitou Street. The road changes into Apostolou Pavlou where you will find Filopappou Hill, brimming with cobbled lanes and where many Athenians walk their dogs. Areios Pagos is the most ancient law court of the world. Monastiraki Square is a bustling square where you will see lots of street musicians, a focal point in this fantastic city. The Athens Central Market is very colourful and a good place to buy produce, herbs, spices, olives and olive oil. Each neighbourhood in Athens has its own unique attractions and character. The coolest shopping is in Koukaki and vibrant nightlife can be found in Gazi. Exarchia enjoys fabulous cafes. The historic centre is in the Plaka neighbourhood. Athens is a city with a phenomenal history, astonishing beauty as well as modern, urban innovation. A large part of its historic centre has been converted into a 3km pedestrian zone, perfect for tourists.
