Overview

Pool Villa/House Self-Catered Ideal for Kids

Breathtakingly beautiful inside and out, you’ll be seriously impressed when you stay at Villa Isle, on the northwest coast of the Greek island of Corfu, overlooking the azure Ionian Sea. This incredible architect-designed property is made up of the main house, and a guest house, set in a Mediterranean garden, surrounded by ancient olive groves, and tall trees for shade and seclusion. Villa Isle has six spacious double bedrooms, and can comfortably accommodate up to twelve guests.

The villa would be ideal for a large family holiday, a friends’ get-together, or a special celebration. The two-storey property is constructed out of local light stone with natural wood pergolas, and an expansive terrace, that is home to a centrepiece infinity heated swimming pool. The villa commands uninterrupted views over the bay of Agios Stefanos, out across the horizon and beyond. Villa Isle comes complete with private parking, complimentary air conditioning, and Wi-Fi throughout. The interiors are bright and breezy, floor-to-ceiling sliding doors let in lots of natural light, and open out onto sea-view terraces and balconies. The recently refurbished villa has been decorated using only the finest materials, natural wood, glass, and marble, and furnished with specially commissioned contemporary pieces, whilst decidedly modern art adorns the walls.

Enter the villa, where you will be greeted by a light and airy open-plan living space, with picture windows that have panoramic views, and give access to the pool terrace. The seating area has an inviting white L-shaped sofa, a designer chair, a wooden coffee table, and a flat-screen satellite television, above a wood-burning fire, fabulous for those cooler months and evenings. The ten-seater, black and white dining set, is perfect for some formal indoor entertaining, with a display cabinet that is home to a must-have wine fridge. The natural wood and white kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest appliances that you will need to cater for your holiday, as well as a breakfast bar with tall stools. The master bedroom is located on the ground floor, with a double bed, that is dressed in the finest linen, billowing white curtains, an ensuite shower room, with a double state-of-the-art vanity unit, and access to the gardens, where there is a furnished seating spot. The second bedroom has convertible twin beds and an ensuite shower room. A guest cloakroom completes the ground floor.

Take the glass-fronted stairs to the first floor, where you will find three spacious ensuite bedrooms, all with sea-view balconies. Two bedrooms have double beds, one with an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub, and the other bedroom is a twin room with an ensuite shower room. The independent, elegant guesthouse, is perfect for two, with a double bed, an ensuite shower room, a kitchenette, and access to the garden.

As far as the eye can see, the glass-fronted terrace, is the star of the show, hosting a central, step-entry, infinity swimming pool, with a waterfall overflow. You’ll feel like you are floating when you sunbathe on one of the two double sun loungers built into the pool. Relax on deep-cushioned, wooden sun loungers, and catch up with this summer’s best seller. Meet for morning coffee at the shady soft seating set. Dine in daylight at the ten-seater table and chairs. As dusk falls take your place at the strategically sited, sunken seating, as you sip cocktails in front of the firepit, and watch the sunset over the horizon. As the stars come out to shine, feast alfresco at the pergola-covered twelve-seater round table, with dishes freshly grilled on the built-in barbeque. Enjoy an after-dinner digestif at the outdoor bar, and raise a toast to the most memorable holiday.
