Sitting in the very heart of Saint Tropez, the magnificent Villa Reine offers an oasis of gracious and glorious living. With four outstanding bedroom suites, elegant living spaces and sensational outdoor space, it is a timeless place to bring generations or friends together for celebrations. Villa Reine is a brilliantly renovated 14th-century former vicarage, a period property that comes with swagger and style. It exudes charm and character, with its original turret standing proud and overlooking a wonderful walled garden. You will relax in luxurious surroundings in this smart residential area, just a few minutes' walk from the buzzy bars and fine dining restaurants of the French Riviera's most famous resort.
Within its ancient walls, Villa Reine is a capsule of contemporary cool with striking modern features mingling with wonderful nods from the past. Space, oversized artworks and contemporary sculptures come in lavish abundance. As guests of Villa Reine, you will also enjoy a delicious continental breakfast every day, a fantastic chef-prepared meal six days a week, champagne and other drinks which are included in the price of the villa (please see the T&Cs).
With calm natural tones, the living area of Villa Reine is elegant, tasteful and beautifully presented. It comes with exquisite furnishings, an oversized open fireplace and an excellent library of books. The whole villa has been renovated to the highest standard, and like every room, this gorgeous living space is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. Guests enjoy a brilliant sound system throughout the villa, as well as smart televisions. Everywhere you look, you will discover wonderful works of art and striking design features. The winding staircase is like a work of art in itself and certainly adds the wow factor. A wall of water forms a backdrop for the sophisticated and slightly quirky dining area, and the turret adds a whole lot of magic. The villa also comes with a smart wine cellar, an office space and a chef's dream of a kitchen which boasts the very best of appliances.
Villa Reine boasts four dreamy bedroom suites, two of which are located on the ground floor with independent access from the garden, one sits at the top of the turret with heavenly views of Saint Tropez, and the master comes with its own hammam and dressing room. Eight guests will dive deep into some serious shut-eye with crisp linens and luxury duvets on the beds. Every bedroom enjoys its own styling. The two ground-floor bedrooms come with gorgeous calm tones and very attractive beamed ceilings. The turret room is thoroughly romantic, and the master enjoys a wooden feature wall and some unique furnishings.
The heart of Villa Reine is its peaceful, pretty walled garden. It is hard to believe that this magical, serene garden sits in the centre of Saint Tropez. You can relax on one of the shaded terraces listening to the fountain trickling into the villa's original well or head to the pool house bar for a glass of your favourite tipple. The bar comes with its own fridge, ice machine and coffee machine. The fantastic mirror edge pool is made of natural stone and is perfect for a dip to cool off. You will discover gorgeous pergolas with ancient olive trees winding their knotty stems and vibrant bougainvillaea clinging, lush lawns, and towering trees framing this wonderful picture.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa ReineVilla Reine enjoys a prestigious location in the centre of Saint Tropez. Sitting in a smart, exclusive residential area, it offers calm, luxury and elegance, just minutes from the very best restaurants and bars that will blow your mind.
Saint Tropez came to fame in the 1950s with Brigitte Bardot starring in the 1956 'And God Created Woman'. Overnight, Saint Tropez became a sizzling jet-set playground. In low season, the town still enjoys its mesmerising quaint beauty, and visitors meander its cobbled lanes in the old fishing quarter of La Ponche, sip pastis in charming cafes, watch old men playing petanque beneath plane trees and walk slowly along the coastal paths. The picturesque peninsula boasts beautiful olive groves and rugged coastal hikes and is now home to exclusive beach clubs, hipster bars and megabucks yachts. A five-kilometre stretch of picture postcard sand sits between the glistening Mediterranean Sea and dreamy dunes.
Saint Tropez is a shopper's paradise, packed with trendy boutiques. The streets around Rue Gambetta and Rue Allard are sprinkled with shoe shops, chocolate shops, boutiques, antique emporiums and art galleries. If you visit on a Tuesday or Saturday morning, you will be treated to wonderful open-air stalls at Place des Lices where you can stock up on freshly baked bread and delicious local produce. Fine wine is big in Saint Tropez. Chateau Barbeyrolles is one of the best vineyards in the village of Gassin. Red and white wines have been added to their delicious rose wines, and visitors can taste and buy wines every day except Sundays.
The peninsula is home to numerous charming villages as well as a fantastic national park that you should explore. La Croix Valmer, in the heart of the Saint Tropez peninsula, is a jewel of nature nestled in the national park, an area known for its walking, cycling and mountain bike paths, its scenic landscapes, amazing fauna and flora, breathtaking views, lively Sunday market and its surrounding vineyards. La Croix Valmer boasts two of the three caps of the Saint Tropez peninsula. Cap Lardier is the most wooded of the caps, and Cap Taillat sits between Cap Lardier and Cap Camarat, the third of the caps. The village of La Croix Valmer also enjoys a history closely linked to the wine industry. Its weekly market is one of the most famous in the Gulf of Saint Tropez and a brilliant place to pick up local produce and wine for Villa Reine.
The picturesque villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle are also wonderful, with far-reaching sensational views. The historic village of Gassin, known as a 'Plus Beaux Villages de France' and a destination of culture and walking, is perched high in the hills enjoying a fabulous medieval terrace, the Promenade De Barri, which offers exceptional views as well as some wonderful restaurants, an unbeatable spot for lunch. You should look out for the street called l'Androuno, which claims to be the narrowest street in the world. The new town of Gassin, designed by Francois Spoerry, has been built below the medieval village and was awarded a prize for the best new town in Europe. The lovely Port Grimaud is reminiscent of Venice.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Reine is fantastic for families though you will need to consider which bedrooms you use if you have very young children. However, teenagers love having early morning access to the pool and the garden. The gardens are stunning, with plenty of room to play and an excellent pool.
In Saint Tropez, children enjoy visiting the Citadel above the harbour. It is enormous and boasts fabulous views all around the bay. Proud of its rich maritime past, Saint Tropez created a modern maritime museum in the dungeon of the town's citadel, allowing visitors to discover the daily lives of men and women who shaped the Saint Tropez of today. The town also boasts a butterfly museum, La Maison des Papillons Musee Dany Lartigue, with more than 35,000 butterflies from all over the world. There are rare species from South America and Africa. The museum is just a few steps south of the northern marina. Saint Tropez is fantastic for people-watching and celebrity spotting. Children love joining in and also looking at the millionaire yachts.
Children love their holiday beach days, and there are plenty of wonderful sandy beaches. A big favourite close to Saint Tropez is the amazing Pampelonne beach. The peninsula is laden with gorgeous coves and fine sand. You can head to Gigaro and Debarquement beaches which are organised and boast some excellent cafes and restaurants, while others are quiet and peaceful. There are some excellent watersports on offer. The coastal paths are superb, offering exceptional panoramic views and a way of getting to pretty coves that you might not otherwise see.
Azur Park in Gassin is roughly fifteen minutes away. It boasts more than thirty-five thrilling rides and attractions. These include trampolines, carousels, toboggans and many others for little ones, bumper boats, river slides, 5D cinema and plenty of others for slightly older kids and some extreme attractions for teens and older. There are two prehistoric animal-themed 18-hole mini golf courses for four to twelve-year-olds and a great cafe. For some more thrilling adventures, you can head to Aqualand Sainte-Maxime, a thrilling waterpark offering a wonderful array of slides, rides and fun pools for the whole family. Children love the tube slides and open-top slides wide enough for groups to race down. It is located on the other side of the Gulf from Saint Tropez. A few miles north of Saint Tropez is Luna Park Frejus, a seasonal funfair with an array of rides and attractions for kids and adults. You will discover traditional carousels, rollercoasters, bumper cars and a ghost train. Make sure to plan ahead if thinking about visiting these parks, as some close during the colder months.
Children enjoy the markets for produce and little souvenirs. Saint Tropez' markets are fabulous, and the Sunday market in La Croix Valmer is great too. La Croix Valmer is very lively on market day, and there are some lovely restaurants and cafes. During the summer months, children also enjoy the entertainment and performances on offer.
A popular family excursion is to take the ferry to the island of Porquerolles. It is only a ten-minute boat ride away from the coast. This crescent-shaped island enjoys a charming village at its centre with some lovely restaurants and bike rentals. The best way to explore Porquerolles is by hiking or cycling on the marked trails of the national park. On the southern side, the coast is made up of steep cliffs and secluded creeks, while the northern side is a little like a Caribbean island with fine sandy beaches and turquoise water.
