An elegant Corsican villa near the sea on the much-loved south-eastern side of the island, enjoy the stylish interiors and gorgeous swimming pool at Villa Etincelle.
This contemporary holiday home offers four en suite bedrooms for up to 8 guests, perfect for a family or small group of friends. Downstairs, three attractive doubles each have their own shower room whilst on the first-floor guests can gaze at the Mediterranean from the covered terrace of the sumptuous en suite master bedroom.
Alongside the brilliantly equipped kitchen, the open plan living and dining space is superb with doors leading out to the al-fresco dining terrace and swimming pool whilst families and friends will love the chic summer kitchen and bar area, perfect for an aperitif or two.
Sunbathe on the decked poolside terrace or simply stand and stare at the glorious landscapes around you. You can stroll down to the sea where there is a little bay linked to a campsite or you may prefer the short drive to Plage de Pinarellu or Plage de Saint Cyprien, each idyllic beach only 5-6km away. There are some incredible coastal hiking paths around here close to Punta Capicciola.
Dine out in Porto Vecchio, around 15km away, and sample Corsican delights such as freshly caught fish, delicious cheeses, chestnuts and wild boar, then enjoy a glass of the island’s beer or wine as you watch yachts sail into the marina. Drive to the southern tip of the island and admire the historic and natural splendour of Bonifacio or head towards the rockpools and rugged scenery of the island’s breathtakingly beautiful interiors.

About the surrounding area of Villa EtincelleVilla Etincelle is located in south-eastern Corsica, 15km north of Porto Vecchio, within walking distance to the coast and a short drive from some of Corsica’s most beautiful beaches.
In the heights of a residential area around 3km south of Plage de Pinarellu, there are some stunning walking trails in this area and you can also stroll down to a little bay, linked to a campsite, which is partly naturist. Restaurants can be reached within a short drive – in the summer pre-book a table at one of the beachside establishments at Plage de Pinarellu or the equally gorgeous Plage de Saint Cyprien, about a 5km drive away. Both beaches also offer a great range of seasonal watersports.
Porto Vecchio (15km) is a charming harbourside town, especially popular in the summer months, with an old quarter of narrow lanes filled with restaurants and shops as well as an impressive marina. Two further iconic beaches of Corsica, Palombaggia and Santa Giulia, are just south of the town around 25km away.
Further south, Bonifacio (44km) is a fantastic day out, a wonderful town with a bustling citadel above dramatic limestone cliffs, a marina with inviting restaurants and bars, some glorious beaches and coastal walking opportunities nearby as well as boat trips heading out to the remote Lavezzi Islands.
It’s not just southern Corsica’s beaches that will take your breath away, the rugged interiors of the island are also magnificent. Admire the island’s natural beauty as you hike through the Forêt de l'Ospédale, discover all sorts of outdoor adventures from canyoning to quad-biking, come across idyllic rivers and rock pools and be amazed by the incredible landscapes of the Col de Bavella.

Best Suited For: All AgesFamilies love the beaches around Porto Vecchio and two of the most idyllic, Plage de Pinarellu and Plage de Saint Cyprien, are within a short drive. As well as gently shelving shores and clear water, look out for summer beachside restaurants and seasonal watersports such as sea-kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and parasailing.
Palombaggia and Santa Giulia are two further gorgeous beaches worth visiting, especially if staying outside high season, or drive towards the pretty town of Bonifacio and the Figari coastline for more superb stretches of sandy shores, boat trips and a great range of watersports.
There’s a wealth of outdoor adventures to be experienced near Porto Vecchio from the tree-top adventure park (with an inflatable water park) within a half-hour drive to Solenzara, a little further, home to canyoning, paintballing and kayaking. The incredible Forêt de l'Ospédale and Col de Bavella offer for even more activities such as quad biking, mountain biking, hiking, rock-climbing and ziplines.
