Villa Vitaljina holds a fabulous and much-desired location within Dubrovnik’s sumptuous wine region, “Konavle”. The late 16th century farmhouse which has been owned by the same family for all those years, has been beautifully and lovingly modernised. The property has retained an authentic exterior and feel with natural materials such as stone and wood featuring throughout. Villa Vitaljina is ideal for those seeking a relaxing break in a tranquil location, surrounded by ancient vineyards and olive groves, it is away from any hustle & bustle.
The villa can accommodate up to eight guests across four spacious bedrooms. On the ground floor, is the main living accommodation, comprising of a fully-equipped kitchen with dining area and two living rooms, one of the double bedrooms and a family bathroom. Upstairs, are the remaining three bedrooms and a second family bathroom. There is a cosy tavern area which boasts a third living area complete with bar and a games room complete with 8 foot pool table, perfect for the big kids in the group!
The outside space has the real wow factor, the luxurious private swimming pool is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning swim or relax in the Jacuzzi section in the Croatian sun. The traditional covered terrace known as a “glorijet” is the perfect place for family and friends to get together and dine al fresco and comes complete with a handy summer kitchen with barbecue and bread oven. There is also a foot-tennis and badminton court, fantastic for the whole family to enjoy!
What you should know…
- There are quite a few steps in the grounds of the villa which might not be suitable for everyone and guests travelling with very young children will need to ensure they are not left to explore alone
- The villa’s rural location means that a car will be needed in order to reach local amenities and attractions

A range of handy amenities including shops and restaurants can be found in the near-by village of Gruda, while the closest beach is at Prevlaka just 10 minutes away. The popular and must-visit destinations of Molunat and Cavtat are under 30 minutes away while Dubrovnik itself is a 50-minute car journey from the villa. The closest airport is Dubrovnik, which is just 25 minutes away.
