A verdant Mediterranean garden surrounds the property, offering peace and seclusion for leisurely afternoons spent lounging by the pool. The upper deck of the terrace, accessible via a short flight of steps, features a relaxing outdoor lounge and a dining area, where guests can enjoy gathering together for delicious barbecues at sunset.
Inside Villa Ruzza, guests will find a bright and airy living space that features a traditional-style lounge area with comfortable sofas and a flatscreen TV, the ideal spot in which to curl up and unwind after a day spent exploring the coastal wonders of Croatia. The first-floor living space features an inviting lounge with a corner sofa, as well as an entertainment area with table football, perfect for evening tournaments! Also on this floor, guests will find a compact home gym and a spacious bathroom with an indulgent, jacuzzi-style bathtub. Two double bed bedrooms offer relaxed, understated décor.

Rijeka Dubrovačka is a fjord-like valley where the River Ombla meets the Adriatic Sea, known for its pretty villages and the beautiful wildlife to be glimpsed along the riverbanks. Here, nature lovers and city dwellers alike will be enchanted by all that the Dubrovnik region has to offer.
The ancient, labyrinthine streets of Dubrovnik offer the perfect excuse to spend the afternoon wandering in the sunshine, taking in the city’s wonderful cultural landmarks. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Dubrovnik’s medieval old town is home to a magnificent Baroque cathedral, enclosed within imposing fortress walls which offer sweeping views of the city. After a day spent enjoying the historic sites and bustling marketplaces of the city, visit a local tavern to sample traditional Dalmatian delicacies such as black squid ink risotto or pašticada, a slow-cooked beef and pasta dish. A sip of rakija, a local brandy made from plums, pomegranate and other fruits, is a tasty way to finish off a leisurely meal in Dubrovnik. Meanwhile, intimate wine tours and olive oil tastings are another great way to get to know the city’s rich gastronomy.
For a different kind of day out, why not visit Mljet National Park, a stunning nature park located on its own green island? Ferries to the legendary shores of Mljet depart from Gruž harbour, only a ten-minute drive away from Villa Ruzza. An hour-long journey across the turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea will take you to the pretty port village of Sobra, where you can rent a bicycle or catch the bus to reach the untouched natural beauty of the national park. With its winding limestone streets and ancient walled fortress, Dubrovnik is a magnificent city for families to explore together. Spend the morning walking the city’s sprawling walls, or for an exciting afternoon in the sun, take a trip in the famous cable car to the panoramic viewpoint at the top of Srd Hill, where you can marvel at the breathtaking sights of the old town and the surrounding islands, as well as the turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea. Later on, enjoy a well-earned ice cream in the old town or make your way to the popular shores of Banje Beach, where you can take a refreshing dip in the ocean.
Water babies will love spending sunny days at the beach, where toddlers and younger children can splash in pristine, shallow waters and teenagers can enjoy a wide range of water sports, including paddleboarding and sea kayaking.
