Villas in Portugal

Portugal Villa Holidays

Portugal offers plenty of variety within a relatively compact country. The Algarve is known for its beaches, limestone cliffs and golf courses, while Lisbon brings historic neighbourhoods, excellent restaurants and easy access to the Atlantic. Along the Lisbon Coast, you’ll find sandy beaches and coastal towns, while further north the Douro Valley has terraced vineyards and riverside estates. Madeira offers something different again, with mountain scenery, coastal walks and a mild climate throughout much of the year.

Our villas in Portugal include villas with pools, family-friendly villas and homes close to beaches, golf courses and wine country.

Why Visit Portugal?

Portugal works particularly well if you want to combine coast, countryside and city time without spending hours travelling. The Algarve has sheltered coves and wide Atlantic beaches, Lisbon puts historic neighbourhoods and restaurants within easy reach of the coast, while Porto offers a compact riverside centre, excellent food and easy access to the Douro Valley.

Beyond the mainland, Madeira has volcanic mountains, natural swimming pools and a network of levada walking trails, making it a strong choice for active holidays.

Food and wine are another reason to explore. Seafood is a constant along the coast, while regional dishes include Algarve cataplana, grilled sardines and bacalhau. Port comes from the Douro Valley and is closely associated with Porto, Vinho Verde comes from the north-west, and Madeira produces its own fortified wine. Families can easily combine beach days with historic towns, boat trips and time at the villa.
