Casa Luisa is a typical Italian property and an outstanding example of the 1920’s Art Nouveau architecture, characterised by its salmon pink facade.
Our accommodation is a holiday villa which features two main floors, each one a self-contained apartment, as well as an attic and wine cellar, making it ideal for groups and families who are eager to discover the enchanting region of Puglia by car or local public transport.
Situated in Bari's Picone residential area, you and your guests will be within walking distance (5 minutes max) from the Mongolfiera Pasteur shopping centre, which offers an excellent range of shops, bars and moreish restaurants. But if you fancy visiting Puglia's renown attractions such as Alberobello and Ostuni, you can hop in the car and catch one of the main roads leading out of Bari, or you can make the most of the regional train service, running directly to Matera from Bari train station close by.
The interiors are spacious and inviting, with equal measures of antique and contemporary furnishings. Then there's the lovely balconies on the upper floor, allowing you and your clan to enjoy the villa’s beautiful grounds from the comfort of your bedrooms.
Casa Luisa features a generous lounge on each floor as well as a well-equipped kitchen whilst there is ample space to gather for al-fresco dining outside. Speaking of food, use this time away to get accustomed to Puglia's delicious 'Cucina Povera' so you can then attempt to recreate these hearty dishes when you return home.
There are three pretty bedrooms on the ground floor whilst upstairs you will find two more bedrooms including a double with a four-poster bed and en suite bathroom alongside a characterful attic for additional living space.
At the rear of the villa, discover the luscious garden and an opulent pool that is surrounded by sun loungers and upholstered outdoor seating. The Art Deco themed poolside is bursting with character and has suitable natural shade from the sun, making it perfect those lazy days by the pool.

- This is an 'urban villa' in Bari's suburbs and may not suit those seeking countryside peace & tranquillity - still.....the location, plush furnishings and fantastic facilities make this place our 'best value for money' in Italy!
- The villa comprises of two self-contained apartments, one on each floor with its own kitchen and living space (the first-floor apartment also features an attic living room).
- Please check the “Features” tab for which rooms feature air-conditioning and also for the sleeping arrangements which includes sofa-beds if maximum capacity is booked.

Location
About the surrounding area of Casa LuisaBari is both a port city on the Adriatic Sea and the capital of Puglia. Its maze-like old town, Barivecchia, occupies a headland between two harbours and it is surrounded by narrow streets where the 11th-century San Nicola cathedral can be found. To the south, the Murat quarter has stately 19th-century architecture, a promenade and pedestrianized shopping areas.
Casa Luisa is situated in the residential Picone area of Bari, just a 15 minutes drive from the airport and a few minutes walk from a range of shops, bars and restaurants. You can also visit the region of Matera, which will be the 2019 European World Capital of Culture. Luckily, you can access this beauty from the local train station.
