Why visit Turks and Caicos?

Turks and Caicos is a paradise for beach lovers and ocean explorers. The islands are surrounded by one of the largest coral reef systems in the world, creating exceptional conditions for snorkelling and diving. Colourful coral gardens, sea turtles, stingrays and dolphins can all be spotted beneath the clear Caribbean waters.

Providenciales – often called Provo – is the most visited island and home to Grace Bay Beach, consistently ranked among the most beautiful beaches in the world. Its calm waters and soft white sand create the perfect setting for swimming, sailing and sunset walks along the shore.

Turks & Caicos: Getting there and around

By plane

Direct flights from London Heathrow reach Providenciales in around 9 hours, with regular connections to other Caribbean islands.

By taxi

Taxis are widely available across Providenciales and operate on fixed fares. It’s best to agree the price before setting off.

By car

Hiring a car is the easiest way to explore the islands, particularly on Providenciales where beaches and restaurants are spread out.

By boat

Water taxis and boat charters connect nearby islands and cays, making it easy to explore more of the Turks and Caicos archipelago.
