- The spiral staircase has railings that could be climbed on so may not be suitable for young children

Best Suited For: All AgesYou family will have the most amazing time during your stay at Villa Anjam, the colourful interior and easy access to the garden and swimming pool will occupy them for many hours. However, holidays are for adventure and there is plenty of that to be had withing striking distance of your villa.
Getting lost in the souks as you no doubt will seems to really engage children as they try to get their bearings on their favourite stalls. It is easy to spend hours ambling from one stall to another in the labyrinth of little alleys, and however far you go it is never difficult to make your way back to the Djemaa el Fna. Also, if confident enough they will love to haggle, bargaining for any souvenirs that have caught their eye. Haggling is the norm here and is also a great way to get to know the locals so make sure they have a pocketful of dirhams whenever you go out.
For a real treat and to be allowed to stay up late there is an amazing Observatory which is open to the public, they offer high performance instruments and the largest telescope in Morocco to gaze at nebulas, galaxies and planets in the black dark skies that you get over the desert. Truth be told it is a great romantic evening out for adults too!
If your children are keen to ride a camel while in Marrakech why not take a guided tour? you can combine this with a quad biking experience and have the best of fun days. Usually, a Berber village visit and delicious tagine, bread and salad lunch is included.You are taken to a camel station just outside the city where you climb onto your camel wearing a supplied headscarf to protect you from the dry breezes. Then, enjoy a round-trip camel trek, riding in convoy to a traditional village near the palm groves. After lunch back at the base, it’s time to hop onto a quad bike for a spin along desert tracks passing small villages and farms as you zip around the rugged countryside.
