Atop a small hill, the recently refurbished and fully staffed villa, Ionie, is the perfect way to capture an unforgettable Jamaican experience. This beautiful villa provides ample space and provides breath-taking views of the coast and
Caribbean Sea!
Ionie's large open space layout and room connection throughout the property means you will never be far from friends and family! Bathrooms and amenities are easily accessible and as the villa has been recently refurbished, guests will be accommodated with air conditioning in every bedroom and brand-new televisions in every bedroom, living room and the family room. The upholstery and furniture will invite you to snuggle into comfort. Wide glass doors and cedar louvres on the ground floor open up to a delightful veranda, where the silky soft Zoysia grass will invite you to walk bare feet and where evening meals are a must. The air is scented by the bougainvillea, hibiscus, ginger lilies, frangipani, bamboo, ferns, lavender and periwinkle which are swooned by the palm trees, offering shade to both guests and nature alike. Guests can relax with delicious cocktails, snacks and meals whilst they watch sunsets and sun rises, tropical lightning shows and cruise ships voyage into the distance! and also offers splendid views, with a large space and furniture for guests to
relax with each other as Jamaicans do!
The ground floor hosts the first two bedrooms of this lovely house with its spacious rooms and double beds. If you have to wait for your fellow guests to get ready for the day, you can watch television in your room or take a dip as each room leads to the outside pool! If you need more sleeping space, the children's room also offers another bed!
The Master bedroom provides fantastic views of the sea and mountains beyond from the villa's exquisite position, to add to the feeling of paradise you will experience during your stay. A king-size bed along with a Jacuzzi tub in an en-suite bathroom mean that you can really get away on your vacation! The recent refurbishments have given Ionie a touch of exclusivity with the new electronically controlled gates protecting the villa and the numerous safety features included, such as locking features preventing children accessing the pool unsupervised, meaning this is a must stay for families!
The property includes a full rooster of staff so you will not have to worry about a single thing just as Bob sings! They are accommodating, helpful and all in all, wonderful so whatever your need may be, they are on hand! Ionie is located just 20 minutes to the Hip Strip of Montego Bay, where restaurants, bars, services, tours and activity centres can be found for any holiday makers desire.

About the surrounding area of IonieYour journey through Jamaica's coast to the Ionie villa will give you a preview of the wonders in store for you in this majestic Island. Its streets are flamboyant and vibrant, with colourful stalls, shops and services lining the magnificent Caribbean Sea. One of the greatest aspects of the northern coast of the St Jams Parish is the unlimited number of varied excursions available to suit any mood or group! So, the villa's proximity to the bustling town of Montego Bay means that there will never be a dull moment on the trip!
Famed for its beaches, it isn't possible to visit the northern coast without visiting one of the glorious beaches that surround you. From Reading Beach, the closest to the villa there are a string of wonderful beaches! There are more lively beaches, which are catered by bars, activities and restaurants including Doctors Cave and private, secluded, tranquil spots of pure paradise such as Dead End Beach!
As the nature will surely amaze you, you can fully immerse yourself into it with the many tours and activities, the Island provides. The Rockland's Bird Sanctuary tour will allow you to walk amongst thousands of species of birds both rare and indigenous and birds that have migrated! Get up close and personal with the magical creatures whilst they feed from seeds in your hand! Deep in the forests and jungles of the island, you can go up high into nature and zip line from the many operators that offer rides. Meet the guides of nature, the Rastafari, as you traverse their culture in Montego Bay Gardens and gain a greater appreciation for mother Earth. Begin your refreshments at Croydon in the Mountain, a plantation which captures the essence of Jamaica. Enjoy the sunshine blessed fruits and coffee beans that grow naturally in the picturesque habitat whilst learning about the history of the plantation. Head into Montego Bay to dine on world famous jerk recipes and seafood and wash it all down with tropical cocktails and extraordinary rum recipes.
The villa's location and Jamaica's family friendly vibe mean that a short 20-minute drive will take you to many family amenities including the Aqua Sol Park which is located in the Montego Bay area. Prior to Booking
Please be aware that Jamaica is an island nation that experiences weather patterns dictated by the Atlantic Ocean to the north of the island and the Caribbean Sea to the south of the island. This tropical rainforest climate results in the island experiencing a hurricane season, which usually occurs between June to November. Entry Requirements
Tourists who are British Citizens will not require a visa upon arrival and Departure Tax is included in most flight costs. Please check Entry Requirements before departure.
Getting There
Jamaica has two international airports, Donald Sangster in Montego Bay and Norman Manley, Kingston.
From the US:
There are many direct flights with Jet Blue, Caribbean, Delta, American and United from cities including New York, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston and Philadelphia.
From the UK:
There are direct flights to Montego Bay from Gatwick and Manchester with American Airlines, British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. Glasgow and Belfast passengers can also fly via the US with United Airlines.

Best Suited For: All AgesIonie has connecting bedrooms which allow convenience for the whole family! The villa has numerous safety features for adults with children, for instance all bedrooms operate with locking features should guardians wish to control access of children to the pool area. A children's play room equipped with a bed, television and games console will entertain children on those hot peaceful Jamaican nights. Kids can also enjoy a refreshing splash in the pool before making their way to the many beaches that nestle on the shores of the coast.
The Aqua Sol Beach Park has an amazing white sand beach with sparkling blue water. The many waterslides, go-karts, and other kiddie entertainment will keep the little ones and the youthful adults happy for hours on end! Doctors Cave beach has shallow, calm waters for those with younger children, whilst being located to bars and restaurants to keep all ages refreshed and relaxed.
For more adventure on the water, the Blue Hole is a must visit along with the many falls that cascade around the lush green tropical wildlife of Jamaica. Here, older children can zip-line through the trees, or climb up the waterfalls. Everyone can enjoy swinging or jumping into lagoons to revitalise!
The island's history is fascinating and the many tour operators within the district are able to accommodate each different child's imagination! From spooky tours to the Rose Hall Great House, a former slave plantation known to be haunted, children will be in for a fright and a reflection on history as they explore the estate! In nearby Ocho Rios you can visit the Columbus museum where Christopher Columbus first set foot on the island and explore artefacts and history of the paradise that is Jamaica.
The coast offers relaxing, scenic views no matter where you are so strolls and walks are recommended! Tours offer guided walks and hikes to amazing spots so you and your loved ones can enjoy magnificent sun sets under palm trees, on beaches, from mountain tops or wherever your heart desires!

Villa Staff included at this property:
A full-time dedicated chef, butler, housekeeper and personal laundress attend exclusively to your villa. There will also be a complimentary Driver for 7-night bookings. Gas is an additional cost.
Your cook will handle grocery shopping and meal preparation. They will pre-purchase your first few meals plus pantry staples, then finish the week's shopping after meeting with you. At week's end, they will present receipts for all food and beverage and reconcile your account. A typical grocery budget is $55-$65 per adult per day and $20-25 per day for preteens. This may vary up or down depending on market prices and menus.(more luxurious items such as shrimp, lobster, imported meats and Champagne will incur a further charge).
Your cook will also pre-purchase a small starter bar (a few bottles of Red Stripe, moderately-priced wine and rum). Additional alcohol requests will increase your budget. If you wish to go to the various markets with them, you are welcome. Otherwise, simply review your tastes and distastes with them and they'll handle it all while you stay at the villa and relax.
A nanny can be arranged for an average of $12 per hour. Guests should plan to add approximately $20 per day for food for their nanny.

Villa Conditions

I can’t say enough how much we loved it. We were practically in tears saying goodbye to the staff. The food, service and house were wonderful. This was probably our best vacation ever!
