An exquisite seven-bedroom villa located beside the private Minitas Beach, Villa Balenciaga enjoys all the amenities of the exclusive Casa de Campo resort. On the southern coast of the Dominican Republic, this incredible villa is easily accessible from the airport at La Romana and offers golf course views and a stunning private pool and hot tub.
The spacious and sophisticated property provides accommodation for up to fourteen guests, with everything on one level. Outside, a large covered terrace has seating and dining areas overlooking the pool area. The pool itself is impressively proportioned, incorporating an adjacent hot tub and right by a sun deck with a number of sun loungers. A barbecue, water features and large gardens can also be found at Villa Balenciaga.
The interiors are tastefully decorated and well designed, with a large lounge offering ample seating on comfy sofas. A dining area with seating for twelve leads directly out onto the terrace, and there’s a well-equipped kitchen too – although your chef, waiter and housekeeper will take care of everything.
The villa has seven bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Three of these rooms have king-size beds and all are kept cool and comfortable with air-conditioning. Some bedrooms also enjoy a private terrace or direct access to the pool area with its array of furnished chillout spaces.
Villa Balenciaga enjoys a peaceful, natural environment and is only a short walk or drive from many of the amenities of the Casa de Campo resort. These include three golf courses, tennis courts, a marina, spa and a variety of restaurants and entertainment venues. As well as the beach club at nearby Minitas Beach, guests at the resort can also enjoy the village of Altos de Chavon, around 6km from Villa Balenciaga, with its Mediterranean vibes and impressive amphitheatre concert venue.
What you should know…
- Please be respectful of the intricate water features, as they have been maintained with many hours of precision
- Make sure that mosquito repellent, sunglasses, sunscreen and light layers of clothing that can cover you make the packing list! White looks great on the golf course anyway!
- When getting around the island we’d recommend car. Rental cars are available or you can opt for a taxi or bus. Taxi’s can be incredibly expensive and you’ll need to be prepared to haggle. Buses tend to stop short of nine o’clock at night which may make you feel as though you don’t have enough time for a night out. With a rental, freedom is yours

Best Suited For: All AgesThere’s plenty for the kids to enjoy at Villa Balenciaga, and a lot of it you can enjoy together. With its big swimming pool, it’s great for learners and masters alike, and the spacious terrace offers lots of room for sunbathing or just catching up with books and movies. There’s TV in every room and Wi-Fi too, plus as part of a gated community it’s safe and secure.
The resort makes the experience even more special. The private beach and its beach club is just a short walk from your villa, and they can go and explore the tropical swimming pool, marina or some of the sports on offer. There’s tennis, soccer, night golf and much more, as well as an excellent gym. The Casa de Campo kids’ club has loads of age-appropriate activities to keep them busy while you do your thing too.
If they get hungry, you can catch one of the food trucks serving up wood-fired pizza and all sorts of other tasty street food down at the beach. For dinner later, the resort has a variety of restaurants serving everything from Italian to Mexican. Also great for a night out together, the Casa de Campo cinema plays the latest movies on three screens down at the marina.
