Located within a short walk of the marina at the Casa de Campo resort in the southern Dominican Republic, Casa Confianze is a beautifully appointed eight-bedroom villa. Enjoying wonderful views of the Caribbean Sea and the La Romana Country Club golf course, this property features a private swimming pool and hot tub.
The villa is surrounded by outdoor furniture and manicured lawns. Everyone can enjoy a great time in the sun at Casa Confianze. There’s a children’s play area with swings and trampoline, as well as a large barbecue and covered outdoor dining space.
The irresistibly stylish interiors include a spacious lounge with vaulted ceiling and plenty of comfy sofas and armchairs. There is also a movie room with projector, surround sound and 120-inch screen, and a lovely dining room with seating for all sixteen guests. A fully equipped professional kitchen can also be found here, along with additional living quarters for the team of staff which includes a housekeeper, cook and gardener.
Eight air-conditioned bedrooms provide accommodation for sixteen-guests, with some additional sleeping spaces too. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with marble floor, a walk-in wardrobe, large television and a DVD and Blu-ray player. Three Master bedrooms feature King-size and single pull-out beds, four bedrooms have two Queen-size beds, and another large bedroom has two Queens and twin beds.
All this is within a short distance of the amenities of Casa de Campo resort, which include a private beach, tropical swimming pool, spa, gym and a range of sports facilities including tennis courts and three golf courses. You can also look forward to visiting the glamorous marina quarter, a wide range of restaurants, shops and entertainment venues and the Mediterranean-style village of Altos de Chavon, around 2.5km from the villa.

About the surrounding area of Casa ConfianzeNear the city of La Romana on the south coast of the Dominican Republic, the Casa de Campo golf resort enjoys an enviable reputation. With three highly rated golf courses and a host of other facilities including a spa, marina and private beach, it creates a wonderful ambiance which is much-loved by visitors.
In addition to the golf courses which include the top-rated Teeth of the Dog, the resort’s other sports facilities include tennis courts, an equestrian centre and a soccer school, and the coastal location on the River Chavon makes water-sport another possibility. The resort has excellent fitness and wellness facilities, in the form of a fitness centre offering tailored programmes, and a serene spa where you can enjoy a variety of treatments.
On the resort’s private Minitas Beach, the beach club combines relaxed dining with the sounds of DJs and live musicians, and the views of the Caribbean Sea are undeniably appealing. There are many other dining options around Casa de Campo, from food truck to gourmet, and cuisines from Italian and French to Mexican and Spanish are represented, along with plenty of local specialities.
One special highlight for visitors is a riverside village which looks centuries old but is in fact a recreation – Altos de Chavon was built over six years from the late 1970’s. Look out for the 5,000 seater amphitheatre which has welcomed some of the biggest names in music, from Sinatra to Sting, and the cultural centre where artists are often seen at work. The nearby city of La Romana offers yet more entertainment, as well as shopping, casinos and beautiful beaches.

Best Suited For: All AgesCasa Confianze is great for families, and with its huge capacity, there’s room to bring a few friends along too. Outside, there’s a wonderful pool terrace with the added bonus of a hot tub, as well as a lovely area for a barbecue and a play area for the youngest. Inside, you have loads of bedrooms, a home cinema room and lots of space to chill out with television or the internet.
The resort has a lot to offer too, with its abundance of sports facilities offering everything from tennis and golf to soccer and polo. The private beach is ideal for relaxing in style, and the kids’ club is an ideal way to keep them busy too, with something suitable for every age going on day or night.
There’s also a tropical swimming pool, plenty of shops and some great restaurants and even food trucks. You can enjoy anything from Mexican to pizza, or something more suited to a special occasion. As well as movies at the multi-screen cinema by the marina, you might even be able to catch a global music star playing at the Altos de Chavon amphitheatre.

Spectacular home and amenities
We had a wonderful time at Casa Confianze! We were four families of four, each with two school aged children and 2 adults. The setup of the home and the number of bedrooms never made it feel like there were 16 of us there. The pool and hot tub were great. The outdoor seating area that overlooked the pool and the golf course was fantastic. We spent many nights lounging in that space, listening to music and enjoying tranquillity. The staff was very accommodating and responsive to our every need. The food they prepared was great. We were very pleased with all the aspects of Casa Confianze and look forward to returning for many years to come!
