The gorgeous and comfortable Villa Lunar occupies a privileged and enviable position just north of Ibiza Town with spectacular views Formentera and the old town of Ibiza. The villa has recently been renovated and refurbished throughout, resulting in a magnificent retreat for up to 12 guests in 6 astounding bedroom suites.
 
With its close proximity to the famous nightlife and diverse attractions of Ibiza Town, Villa Lunar is extremely popular. It is on the way to Roca Llisa and the delightful Cala Llonga Beach. Also very close by is the vibrant village of Jesus, a favourite with the locals with a great choice of restaurants and bars.
 
Villa Lunar benefits from two sensational terraces. The pool terrace is excellent with quality sun loungers surround the 10m x 5m saltwater pool. There is a fabulous alfresco dining and lounge area with gas barbecue and also a fridge, freezer and outdoor shower. The views from the pool and terrace are astounding. In addition, there is another terrace on a higher level adjoining the open plan living space. Enormous bifold doors open to the terrace where there is an additional alfresco dining area. This terrace is particularly popular for cocktails at sunset where guests can soak in the astonishing views. The villa is set in a residential area, so it is peaceful and quiet. This terrace is absolutely fabulous at sunrise too.
 
The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is cool and trendy. Sumptuous sofas, fabulous handpicked wooden tables and contemporary lighting will delight. The bifold doors bring the outside in, making the living space light and beautiful. The modern kitchen features a 3-metre kitchen island, a Nespresso coffee machine and two dishwashers. The lower level of the villa boasts a large play or cinema room with a 55-inch flat-screen television. It has direct access to the pool terrace. iPod docking stations and a Sonos sound system are available throughout the villa, as is high-speed fibre internet.
 
The six-bedroom suites are absolutely gorgeous. There are two master bedrooms, both with kingsize beds, underfloor heating, walk-in wardrobes and access to private terraces with two sun loungers and stunning sea and countryside views. How fabulous to have your own delightful terrace away from the group for a short while! There are three further bedrooms with kingsize beds, underfloor heating, outdoor terrace access and astonishing views. One of these also has some office space. The final bedroom has a kingsize bed and underfloor heating but only a small window, so it does not have the same incredible views. The villa’s six bathrooms are absolutely stunning. They are contemporary and beautiful.

Villa Lunar boasts a fantastic location, just on the outskirts of the fabulous Ibiza Town. The city weaves its magic with sheer diversity. The world-famous Pacha nightclub is home to some of the best DJ’s and is a great nightlife attraction. Swanky bars and world-class restaurants litter the pavements in the pretty Old Town and the trendy Marina Botafoch. The city is romantic and intriguing as well as vibrant, cosmopolitan and buzzing. By day, Ibiza Town is all about shopping, browsing, boating, historical sightseeing and beach bar hopping. By night, it is all about alfresco wining and dining followed by dancing into the early hours. The gay-friendly back streets of Sa Penya come alive with a multitude of colourful guests and residents.

Foodies and history buffs will love the annual May Eivissa Medieval Festival three-day event celebrating the anniversary of the town’s UNESCO World Heritage listing. It takes the Dalt Vila back to its past with delicious food stands, arts, crafts and performances. The ancient walled fortress of Dalt Vila is a treasure trove of narrow, cobbled streets brimming with cathedrals, chapels, churches and museums. Plaza del Parque is a pretty social square. You can mingle with the rich and famous in the glitzy new marina or chill out and soak in the sun with the beach set on the long, golden stretch of sand at Playa d’en Bossa, Ibiza’s own version of South Beach!
 
The beautiful, secluded beach S’Estanyol is within minutes of the villa. A narrow arc of a cove with shady pines and crystal clear turquoise water, it never feels overcrowded. A wooden walkway takes you right into the warm sea and makes you feel like you’ve struck Ibiza gold!

Just a bit north of Villa Lunar is the lovely Cala Llonga resort. It is absolutely delightful, boasting amenities such as supermarkets, restaurants, bars, a pharmacy and cashpoints as well as a magnificent silver sanded beach, bordered with pine-clad hills on either side. Santa Eulalia, the other side of Cala Llonga, boasts an elegant yacht harbour and a beautiful, palm-lined promenade running the length of the beach. Santa Eulalia has a long-established reputation as the island’s gastronomic and cultural centre. It is Ibiza’s third largest resort with the perfect blend of laidback, relaxed island vibes, holiday town atmosphere and its excellent gastronomy. The fortified 16th-century church of Puig de Missa presides over the town from a hill above.

Visiting Ibiza with children is easy. It may be known as a party destination and clubber’s paradise, but there is plenty to do as a family.
 
Horse lovers will adore Ibiza Horse Valley in the north of the island. You can take half or full-day excursions to enjoy the forests, mountains and the beaches on horseback. They cater for all levels from beginners upwards though children must be over 12 years old. Another company Active Ibiza is more suitable for younger children.
 
Days at the beach will be a real highlight of your Ibiza holiday. Some of the excellent beach clubs have thoughtfully created children’s areas so that they can play while you relax. El Chiringuito on Es Cavallet Beach and Beachouse on Playa d’en Bossa are excellent children's clubs where they will be given a chance to paint, draw and do various crafts. There are children’s menus available too. Cala Llonga and Cala Llenya are outstanding family-friendly beaches.

Aquarium Cap Blanc is a fascinating aquarium in a sea cave where local fishermen used to set their lobster traps. Five openings in the rocks allow seawater to flow freely in and out of the cave. You will see octopus, grouper, rays, morays and conger. Aquarium Cap Blanc is also a recuperation centre for sea turtles.
 
Acrobosc Adventure Park at S’Argamassa, between Santa Eulalia and Es Canar is set in an attractive pine forest and boasts thrilling ziplines, trampolines, slides, nets, ladders, climbing walls, tightropes and rope bridges. It suits children from 3 years old. There are three fun circuits which are graded for different abilities.
 
Children love taking jeep safaris off the road and discovering hidden gems. They will learn about local birds and wildlife and have a chance to stop at a remote beach for a swim. There is also usually lunch in a rustic finca.
 
Many parents visiting Ibiza are interested in the numerous yoga retreats and wellbeing activities the island is famous for. Pranasol, Ibiza offers not only kid’s yoga classes but also mother and baby and family classes. They also offer aqua yoga.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €3,000 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Bed linen, bath and pool towels are included in the rental price.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
