Why Visit Menorca?

Menorca’s beaches range from the long sweep of Son Bou to pine-backed southern coves such as Cala Macarella and Cala Turqueta, with sections of the Camí de Cavalls providing access to quieter parts of the coastline on foot. Inland, dry-stone walls divide farmland dotted with prehistoric settlements, burial sites and distinctive Talayotic stone structures.

Ciutadella brings Gothic architecture, narrow streets and a historic harbour to the western end of the island, while Mahón looks out across its vast natural harbour in the east. Menorcan food is closely tied to the landscape and sea: Mahón-Menorca cheese is produced on the island, while caldereta de langosta is particularly associated with the fishing village of Fornells.

Getting Around

Menorca Airport offers direct seasonal flights from the UK and mainland Spain, with transfer times of around 15 minutes to Mahón and under an hour to Ciutadella.
