Villa Giardiniera was formerly a simple stone house on the edge of Spello's town walls. This space has been carefully redesigned and restored in a fresh, modern style, where the atmosphere encourages guests to completely relax!
One of the villa's best features is the lush private garden, which offers an inviting pool and wonderful views out across the Umbrian hills. The owner has created a sumptuous home-away-from-home feel, decorated in a carefully chosen palette and adorned with decorative pieces from around the world.
Inside, the kitchen and dining area contains a table that seats up to eight guests. To the left of this is a comfortable sofa opposite a flat screen TV, artfully concealed behind an antique door.
The Red Room: The master bedroom is found on the first floor and offers a wonderful view across the garden and the Umbrian hills. The colours of the Moroccan rug rhyme with the red king size bed from Minotti, and the curtains are made from fine Indian cotton. The en-suite bathroom is modern and chic, containing a double shower, bidet and WC.
The Blue Room: This fantastic bedroom is set on the garden level, and echoes the spirit of the Aeolian islands with deep blues and a range of rich textiles that pair beautifully with the cool white walls and cotto floor. The room contains a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with double shower and antique marble sink. Better yet, you get a superb view of the lovely garden!
The Yellow Room: Accessed from the garden, guests will walk down a broad stone set of stairs into wonderful oasis - a bedroom furnished with a king size bed and bedside tables from Gervasoni. The yellows and greens that adorn the room are complimented by souvenirs found in Laos, Cambodia and Burma. Within the room is a fully equipped shower room. Being able to step out of bed and into the garden is a real treat!
Please note that the unique layout of the property is not suitable for families with small children.
