Located in the medieval picture-postcard village of Spello, you will find this gorgeous apartment perfect for an unforgettable holiday for two in Umbria.
Your modern, airy home is tastefully decorated to blend in nicely with the feel of the surrounding countryside, which you can gaze over from the balcony. Watching the sun set over the hills of the Chiona valley with a glass of local wine is an ideal way to spend an evening. A garden of 360sqm shared with the other owner's unit (Gens Flavia) is at guests' disposal. It's close to the apartment and enjoys mesmerising views of the Chiona Valley.
Spello is not on the usual tourist trails so you are able to bask in the atmosphere of a real, unspoilt Italian village. Your apartment sits adjacent to the Roman walls of the historic village, meaning you are just a stroll away from the main piazza. A walk around the local area is a real treat and you will find yourself wandering around the cobbled, flower-lined streets filled with beautiful peach-toned villas. In the village, you can find some great restaurants and artisan shops to visit.
Spello is surrounded by plenty of lovely towns and villages for you to visit for when you wish to do a little more exploring. Your apartment is just 8km from the town of Assisi for example, which is famous for Saint Francis of Assisi and the UNESCO World Heritage Site he left behind; the Basilica of San Francesco d’Assisi. The Basilica is a fantastic place to visit for tourists as well as being a site of pilgrimage. Assisi is also filled with other wonderful churches and monuments and is packed with art and culture. You will also find plenty of cafes and restaurants to head to after a busy day and lots of shops to explore.
- Larger parties travelling together may also book the neighbouring and equally gorgeous La Casetta (sleeps 2-3), Villa Giardiniera (sleeps 6) and Villa Buona (sleeps 6) are also virtually next door
- The apartment is located on the first floor and has interior stairs, as well as a few steps inside
- Air-conditioning is featured in the living/kitchen space and bedroom only
- Due to the serene, rural location, a car is recommended and there is free public parking just a few minute's walk from the apartment

- The kitchen is small and not a professional kitchen and chef services cannot be provided at this property.

Ask a questionWhilst weddings cannot be hosted at La Camerata, its owner has opened up her beautiful countryside residence as a gorgeous Italian wedding venue only a 5-minute drive from Spello - Giardino San Giuseppe.
Inside, celebrate with up to 80 guests beneath the arches of the charming reception hall or step outside and host a larger event in its stunning 2-hectare garden with roses, olive trees and a swimming pool. The colours of the flower-filled garden change as seasons pass – it’s an enchanting place at any time of year with its statues, greenery and beautiful backdrop.
The owners can help with a wedding planner, catering and décor. Please ask for further details and for photos of past events.

There is no accommodation on site at the events venue, however it is a short drive from the following properties: Villa Buona (6 guests), La Casetta (3 guests), Villa Giardiniera (6 guests), La Camerata (2 guests) and Gens Flavia (3 guests).

The events venue informs us that it is accessible to wheelchair users – however, please discuss this with us at the time of booking so we can ensure it meets the necessary requirements.
