The cottage, completely redesigned by the attentive owner Andrea, is decorated with an eclectic mix of items found on their travels, including Moroccan rugs, French-style café table, Austrian clothes holders and objets d'art from India. The master bedroom has views over farmland and hills and both bedrooms are comfortable year-round with air conditioning or heating - though you may not need it in Umbria’s excellent climate! Relax in the living room, which has a working fireplace and Satellite TV with BBC channels.

Spello, an enchanting hillside town is 8 km from Assisi and 20 min drive from Perugia is ideal for walks on the cobblestone streets to a medieval church and Roman arches and ruins. Experience small town Italian life, with little intrusion from tourists. You’re well situated to drive to Umbria’s famous cities and the wineries of Montefalco with ease.
