Several hiking spots and breathtaking national parks are nearby, including the Foresta Demaniale di Pixinamanna, only a ten-minute drive away. Slightly further afield, the island's capital, the captivating city of Cagliari, is just a 40-minute drive away.

About the surrounding area of Villa DorianaSituated in a magnificent resort providing amenities such as a golf club and restaurant and just a 10-20 minute drive away from neighbouring towns and jaw-dropping beaches, the location of Villa Doriana couldn’t be better. You only need to walk 5 minutes from this property to the resort’s terrific golf club. This golf club is extremely well equipped, with a driving range, a Club House with a bistro restaurant and a fitness room.
For a wider range of amenities, drive just 10 minutes to the nearby town of Pula, where you can find various restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Whilst here, explore the idyllic streets of the town or spend an afternoon at the Museo Civico Archeologico Giovanni Patroni, where you can discover Pula’s fascinating history and even visit an interesting exhibition about underwater relics.
Additionally, this part of Sardinia offers several amazing beaches. Just a 15-minute drive away lies the dazzling white sand beach, Spiaggia di Nora. Only 15 minutes away by car, you will find the beautiful beach of Santa Margherita with crystal clear water. On top of this, in just a 20-minute drive, you can reach the glorious beaches of Chia, which are truly spectacular and reminiscent of the Caribbean.
Moreover, be sure to take a trip to the Archeological Site of Nora. This is one of the most famous and best-preserved historical landmarks in Sardinia. Here you can see the ruins of the Phoenician and Roman eras. It is only a 10-minute drive away from the property. Another captivating historical site not to be missed is Su Nuraxi in Barumini, a Nuragic village and UNESCO World Heritage Site, just over an hour’s drive away.
In addition, this villa is an excellent spot for those who love nature and hiking, with many trails and national parks nearby. Make sure not to miss the exceptional Foresta Demaniale di Pixinamanna, only a 10-minute drive away. Finally, for those amongst the party who long for the city, you can get to the fabulous Sardinian capital Cagliari in just a 40-minute drive.

Have a day out at one of the many phenomenal beaches close to the villa. The kids will love paddling in the crystal clear water and building sandcastles. Chia’s several excellent beaches offer great opportunities for water sports such as kitesurfing, scuba diving and paddle boarding. These beaches are only a 20-minute drive from the property.
Moreover, Sardinia is home to over 7000 Nuraghi, large stone towers developed during the Nuragic Age, which can’t be found anywhere else in the world! One of the best places to see these wonders is Su Nuraxi in Barumini, a Nuragic village and UNESCO World Heritage Site, just over an hour’s drive away. The kids are sure to be left speechless.
