Nestled in the beautiful countryside of East-Sussex in the outskirts of the gorgeous medieval village of Robertsbridge, Peanswood Country Manor is an exquisite 12-bedroom manor house and stands impressively in 15 acres of private woodland providing luxurious and comfortable accommodation for up to 26 guests.

After a gorgeous, sweeping drive down through the woods from the private gated entrance, you will immediately notice that the traditional architecture of this manor house sits in seamless harmony with the surrounding landscape. Stepping inside, you will be overwhelmed by the welcoming tranquil atmosphere created by the clever and tasteful combination between both the modern and classical styles of its rather sumptuous interior decor.

Access to the house is through an elegant entrance hall leading straight into a welcoming dining room, with wooden flooring and patio doors opening up onto a beautiful outside terrace, perfect for al fresco meals during the warmer summer months. Even on chilly days, you will be able to enjoy special dining experiences, comfortably seated at a long table overlooking the lush garden while soaking up the heat coming from the gorgeous fireplace. The lovely and bright lounge area also features patio doors leading to the front garden terrace and provides plenty of room for relaxation and entertainment. Sit back in one of the opulent sofa’s while watching a movie, a piano is available for those who want to put their musical talent to the test.

Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor, with the remaining bedrooms located on the first and second floors. One of the en-suites also has a fabulous wet room. All rooms boast fascinating panoramic views and stylish furniture and fittings which will make you feel right at home.

Last but not least, keep in mind that this wonderful property offers several outdoor entertainment opportunities suitable for all ages, not least the large and attractive outdoor heated swimming pool available in the Summer months. Whether you are keen on swimming or willing to keep fit in the gym and on the
grass tennis court, you will never get bored. The little ones will also be spoilt for choice or having fun in the outside playground, which is floored with wood chips for safety.

Peanswood Country Manor is without any shadow of doubt one of the nicest properties we have added to our expanding portfolio of luxury houses in recent years and is suitable for large groups of friends and families seeking for unforgettable dream break in a pristine environment.

  • Beautiful property with great service

    Posted by Anon. on 14/04/2020

We had a lovely week-end at Peanswood Manor in February 2020. The house was wonderful, the grounds are stunning, and the caretakers were extremely friendly and helpful. We would certainly recommend it to others, and return as soon as possible!

  • Thank you for the amazing space.

    Posted by Faith on 04/10/2018

Beautiful garden and the best party house. The Hen had the best weekend and we would definitely come back.

  • Beautiful house and grounds - felt like home!

Posted by Paul edwin P on 29/06/2018

We stayed at Peanswood for 5 days in June 2018 and held our 50th birthday in the grounds. Lovely house and beautiful gardens and pool area.
It was very easy to liaise with the house manager Shane pre our arrival and during our stay. All of the local suppliers too were very friendly, providing good quality produce and services.
Thoroughly recommend Peanswood whether for a quiet holiday with friends or family or for a small gathering.

  • We loved every minute. Thank you.

Thank you for the most amazing stay, what a beautiful house and grounds. So much attention to detail thought the house.

  • The photos don't do it justice

    Created on 30/08/2016

Peanswood is an excellent house for a weekend away. The photos don't do it justice - we had some small kids in the group and they loved it - playing on the playground and the trampoline. It has a serious attention to detail and well equipped. The grounds are magnificent. Was a wonderful stay and can recommend the house wholeheartedly. Joe

  • A truly wonderful house!

    Created on 31/05/2016

A beautiful house with extensive grounds and a great pool area for the summer months! It’s also in a fantastic location - just a short walk up the hill from the train station and village. The house itself is spacious and I loved each room’s unique character. A truly wonderful house! Becca 31 May 2016

  • I was blown away by the place

    Created on 29/04/2016

When I visited Peanswood Country Manor, I was blown away by the beauty of the place. The fabulous private driveway, the wonderfully decorated interiors all bright and modern, and then there was the huge private swimming pool – amazing, one of the best houses I’ve visited. Ad April 2016.
