2. Barbados, Caribbean

What to do: Only a couple of degrees cooler than in the summertime, Barbados is a top spot for visiting at this time of the year – even at nighttime, the temperature rarely dips below 23 degrees. Allowing you to unwind on tropical beaches and swim in crystal-clear waters as everyone back home stays bundled up, it’s an ultimate winter sun destination. 3. Tenerife, Canary Islands

4. Jamaica, Caribbean

What to do: Although St. Lucia has gained a reputation for being a top honeymoon destination, it’s also a great island for family holidays. 6. Koh Yao Noi, Thailand

Koh Yao Noi

Weather: Max: 33 degrees (approx.) | Min: 23 degrees (approx.)

What to do: Largely untouched by tourists compared to its neighbouring islands, Koh Nao Noi remains a hidden gem in the Andaman Sea. With its white-washed beaches, picturesque limestone rock scenery, and activities such as kayaking and diving, it’s the perfect destination for you to escape the cold winter weather.

All international visitors must pay a small entrance fee of 300 baht (less than £7) as part of Thailand’s tourism reopening plan. You should also note that, under the newly introduced Sandbox scheme, you can currently only visit Phuket, Krabi and Phang-nga, as well as Surat Thani island, including Koh Samui, Koh Pha-ngan, and Koh Tao.
