Why Visit Britain and Ireland?

Britain and Ireland make it easy to combine countryside, coast and city time in the same trip. London brings museums, restaurants and theatre, while places such as Cornwall and Yorkshire offer beaches, walking routes, villages and plenty of countryside. Scotland and Ireland bring mountains, lochs, lakes and long stretches of coastline into the mix.

Food is closely tied to where you stay. Expect fresh seafood around Cornwall and Ireland, excellent pubs in the countryside and strong restaurant scenes in London and Edinburgh. Farm shops, local producers and seasonal menus are worth seeking out too.

There is history everywhere, with castles, manor houses, old churches and villages sitting alongside cities known for galleries, festivals and new restaurants. For families and groups, it’s particularly easy to mix days out with walks, beach trips and time back at your holiday home.
