The sprawling, contemporary Casa Veraniega is all on one floor and boasts stunning accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 comfortable and attractive bedrooms. This impressive villa is situated in a tranquil, rural location in San Jose, close to Port d’es Torrent and Cala Bassa. The villa is ideal for groups, families, specialist retreats, events and even weddings or special celebrations.
Cala Bassa is one of the most beautiful coves on the west coast of Ibiza and boasts watersports including pedalos, banana boats and jet skis, 300m of fine silvery sand and great amenities such as showers, massages, restaurants, bars and highly organised sun loungers and parasols. The Cala Bassa Beach Club has four restaurants and DJ’s playing a mix of lounge, chill-out and house music. Cala Bassa Beach is surrounded by a wooded area of ancient, gnarled Sabina trees. Port d’es Torrent is a hidden gem blessed with Caribbean-esque, calm turquoise waters offering peace and tranquillity.
Casa Veraniega’s 3600 sqm of beautifully landscaped gardens are sure to impress. Tropical palms and mature gardens offer natural charm and plenty of shady spaces for a quiet read. The stunning 90 sqm chill out, and yoga area is shaded by a contemporary sail and boasts comfortable loungers, Moroccan day beds and a charming Buddha water feature. Table tennis and table football are provided for your enjoyment. There is also a wonderful petanque court in the gardens. The huge 16m x 10m swimming pool is surrounded by a delightful terrace and deluxe loungers, deckchairs and daybeds. There is a fabulous outdoor kitchen with barbecue and alfresco dining for those hot summer evenings.
The open plan living spaces are equally impressive. The top-notch modern kitchen boasts American style large appliances with 2 hobs, 2 ovens and over 8m of work surfaces. There is a separate laundry room. The kitchen flows beautifully to the exquisite dining area where the wall of glass doors bring the outside in, making it a glorious, bright and beautiful space. Again, an arch takes you through to the comfortable living space with its squishy sofas. The 5m of bi-fold doors along this vast living space offer fabulous views of the pool and gardens. There are sofas, bean-bags, rustic coffee tables and Bose iPod docks. The living room also boasts a large plasma satellite TV, DVD, Playstation2 and a number of games for your entertainment.
The six stylish bedrooms all have fantastic, fully-tiled ensuite bathrooms. All of the bedrooms can be set up as large doubles or twin bedrooms, and four of them have direct terrace access. All of them have their own charms with decorative wood featuring a great deal.
There are no internal steps within Casa Veraniega and only a few external steps. As such, this splendid villa is suitable for guests with mobility problems and in wheelchairs.

About the surrounding area of Casa VeraniegaCasa Veraniega enjoys a lovely, rural spot close to the wonderful west coast beaches of Port d’es Torrent and Cala Bassa. There are excellent choices for wining and dining plus watersports and outstanding facilities at the beaches.
San Antonio is not far away. It is a very lively resort with legendary sunset cafes, electric nightclubs, a vast range of water activities and a contagious buzzy atmosphere. The Sunset Strip is an ideal place to enjoy some cocktails, listening to the latest summer sounds and watching the sun sink in a blaze of vivid pinks, reds and oranges. There are party boat excursions and activities such as jet-skiing, parasailing and much more. The super clubs Es Paradis and Eden, the O Beach Ibiza beach club and the pool party venue Ibiza Rocks Hotel are incredibly popular with the young party set.
In contrast, Cala Conta, 15 minutes away, offers a tranquil time with stunning views across to the little islands that are dotted near the coastline in beautiful turquoise waters. There are two stretches of sand, one backed by a rocky coastline and the other by lovely sand dunes. Cala Conta is also a fantastic sunset beach.

THE REGION
San Antonio is a great place to stay for its lively atmosphere, electric nightlife and one of the widest varieties of fun things to do on land and on water. And it is home to those world-famous Ibiza sunsets! The Sunset Strip is the ideal place to enjoy a cocktail, listen to all the latest summer sounds and then watch the sun slowly sink below the horizon in a blaze of vivid oranges, reds and pinks.
Fun on the water is a big thing in San Antonio. You can try one of the many boat excursions, party on the sea with a boat party or get into activities like jet skiing, parasailing and much, much more. And later on, enjoy San Antonio's legendary nightlife, with super clubs Es Paradis and Eden, beach club O Beach Ibiza, pool party venue Ibiza Rocks Hotel, many smaller cool venues and the bars of the famous West End.

Best Suited For: All AgesFamilies love their holidays in Ibiza. It is so diverse with plenty going on to occupy the young ones. There are some fabulous beaches close to Casa Veraniega with a range of watersports as well as calm, crystal clear water to play and swim. Cala Bassa offers watersports including pedalos, banana boats and jet skis. It is a huge beach with plenty of space and a good range of family friendly restaurants. San Antonio is very buzzy and has a number of children’s playgrounds. Ocean Mania Waterpark in San Antonio is great fun. It is an inflatable playground in the sea with rope swings, trampolines, balancing beams and slides. If you want to learn to paddleboard, instructors at Sup Ibiza organise lessons for children aged 8 and over on the best beaches. You will be taught the basics before paddling around the coast or exploring caves. Children also love parasailing adventures with TakeOff Ibiza in San Antonio.
Aquarium Cap Blanc is often referred to as ‘The Lobster Cave’. It is located in a large natural cave which was previously a lobster nursery. It is often used to house rescued sea turtles before they are released back into the wild. There is a wooden walkway over the water as well as tanks with many examples of Mediterranean sealife. You will see colourful fish such as rainbow wrasse, sea sponges, octopus, rays, starfish, shark eggs and much more.
On Sunday 18 August 1991, drummers and other musicians descended on Benirras Beach to protest against the Gulf War. This day has become known as ‘The Day of the Drums’ so if you see people playing drums on Benirras Beach then you know what it is all about. You will often see them on Sundays. The picturesque beach looks out of the rock formation of Cap Bernat, known locally as the ‘Finger of God’. It is a magical experience.
The horse rehabilitation program created at Ibiza Horse Valley is very impressive. Horse Valley offer half and full day riding tours through the mountains and on the beach. This is suitable for children 12 and over and adults.
