Boasting six en-suite bedrooms, Chalet Cascade can comfortably accommodate up to twelve guests. The chalet's living areas are large and impressive, with a spacious open-plan design that combines a stylish lounge and dining nook that is perfect for socialising and entertaining.

The lounge area is furnished with plush sofas, armchairs gathered around a wide-screen TV and a wood-burning fireplace, providing a cosy space for guests to relax after a day on the slopes, while the chalet's dining nook features a beautiful wooden table that can seat your whole party with ease, creating a wonderful setting for dinner parties and family meals.

Outside, the chalet features a large terrace with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The terrace is furnished with comfortable seating, making it the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun or enjoy a hot drink on a chilly day.

Chalet Cascade's modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare your own meals, including a large fridge, oven, and hob. However, if you feel like truly putting your feet up this winter, why not upgrade to Chalet Cascade’s delightful catering service? As part of the enhanced experience, a dedicated private chef will prepare a delightful selection of gourmet meals and snacks for your group for breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day.

The bedrooms are all decorated to a high standard with cosy furnishings and quality linens and are arranged in either a double or twin configuration, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep for all.  All of the bedrooms at Chalet Cascade also include a private en-suite bathroom.

On the ground level of Chalet Cascade, you’ll also find a spacious wellness suite which features a beautiful state-of-the-art sauna and a delightful hot tub. For kids, a dedicated children’s playroom is available and features several toys, comfortable seats, and a TV where they can watch their favourite shows without interruption from the grown-ups.

  • Chalet Cascade is situated in the heart of Alpe D’Huez, which can be a bustling and lively resort at peak times. While the chalet is well-insulated against noise, you may occasionally be able to hear background noise from the resort, especially when events are happening.
  • The chalet is located on a slope which may make access difficult for guests with mobility issues. 
  • If you wish to utilise the chalet’s private chef services, please let us know about any allergies and dietary requirements as soon as possible.

Chalet Cascade sits at the edge of Alpe D’Huez, a popular ski resort located in the French Alps, just over an hour's drive from Grenoble airport and two hours from Lyon.

Known for its stunning views and excellent skiing opportunities, Chalet Cascade is just a short walk away from the slope entrance making it the perfect ski-in, ski-out chalet.

With one of the largest ski areas in Europe, Alpe D’Huez benefits from a wide range of pistes and activities, making it a popular choice for skiers of all abilities. From gentle greens for beginners to challenging blacks for experienced skiers, the resort also offers excellent off-piste skiing and a snow park for freestyle enthusiasts. In addition to skiing, there are plenty of other winter activities to try your hand at while in the area, including snowshoeing and sledging.

Just under 2 hours from Grenoble airport, you can access this resort with ease, from anywhere in the world! Alpe d'Huez ski area encompasses an altitude range of 1130m-3330m, including one of Europe’s largest nursery areas, ideal for beginners, as well as a huge range of blue and red pistes.

Around the resort you will find the gentler slopes, where beginners can start to find their feet, while those more experienced can head straight to the lifts at Les Bergers, your gateway to the 250km of linked pistes on offer, including 17 black slopes, 39 red slopes, 38 blue slopes and 41 green slopes!

Resort hosts a wide variety of eateries, from pizzerias and cafés to more high-end restaurants, and everything in between! By night, the town comes alive – with pubs, clubs and often live music events, you can be sure to find the perfect spot to dance, sing and party late into the night. With five ski resorts in total and two traditional mountain villages, there’s plenty of action and something for everyone!

Of course, Alpe D’Huez is famous as a winter sports paradise, but there are endless activities on offer all year round! The range of activities for you enjoy depends on the time of year you choose to visit. The Palais des Sports leisure centre available for a range of indoor sports, as well as offering an ice rink and a swimming pool! Out on the mountain, you can try some thrilling sports, including ice climbing, snowmobiling, ski joëring and husky sledging – and even paragliding or a helicopter ride is on the menu if you’re feeling brave!

For a slightly slower pace, simply treat yourself to a trip to the spa in the local town. And that’s just on land!

Chalet Cascade is a wonderful, family-friendly property that offers plenty of activities for children in and around the chalet.

The chalet itself offers a range of facilities that will keep children occupied, including board games and a dedicated kid’s playroom with toys, comfortable chairs, and their own private TV where they can watch shows and movies at their leisure.

Complimentary high-speed wireless internet is available throughout the property, allowing kids to connect their personal devices to keep connected with friends, stream their favourite media, and play games online.

In winter, skiing and snowboarding are the main focus of the resort, and the chalet's close proximity to the ski slopes means that children can easily hit the slopes within minutes of leaving the chalet. Alpe D’Huez ski resort also offers a range of fun non-skiing activities, such as sledging, tubing, and a nearby snow park.

For non-skiers, there are plenty of other activities to keep children entertained around the resort. Alpe D’Huez boasts a beautiful outdoor ice rink and an indoor sports complex with swimming pools, sports pitches and courts, and an indoor climbing wall for extra adventurous kids.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €2000 paid via bank transfer to the owner before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time Check-in 5PM.
Departure time Check-out 10AM.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes, and mid stay cleaning with towel change included in the rental price. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Pets welcome? Not permitted.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
