The kitchen within this property is a key centre point within the entire property. This space presents a collection of bright white cupboards, which are expertly contrasted by a series of stainless steel appliances. Therefore, guests are free to serve an array of delicious meals throughout their time on this property. The ground floor is also home to three beautiful bedrooms. The first bedroom is home to a spacious double bed that also provides access to an opulent en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is home to a pair of single beds, making it an ideal space for two small children or for a couple who prefers to sleep separately. Finally, the third bedroom is regarded as the children’s room because it includes a single bed and a bunk bed set.
Moving up to the first floor, this is where you’ll uncover the master bedroom. This space includes an outstanding double bed and a small lounge area with a flat-screen TV.

THE REGION
Carvoeiro has always been known for its beautiful coastline, adorned with cliffs, coves and incredible sandy beaches stretching all the way along to Albufeira. These days, however, there is a lot more going on in this charming town than just waves hitting the sand (although that’s certainly still a highlight).
In the past few years Carvoeiro has developed to accommodate for the growing number of tourists who are curious to see what the fuzz is all about, and the town continues to get livelier and livelier each summer. While it has kept its character and remains exquisitely peaceful, there are also plenty of modern amenities and loads of exciting activities in the area. The only thing Carvoeiro won’t provide is a good party, but there are other parts of the Algarve which are perfect for that.

Best Suited For: All AgesCarvoeiro is also well received by children as it hosts a variety of family-friendly attractions. Slide and Splash Waterpark was first established in 1986 and has since gone on to be one of the most popular attractions in the entirety of Portugal. This landmark is home to 17 different water slides, such as the Big Tower and Kamikaze. Alongside the water attractions, this park also presents a collection of animal shows, including a remarkable bird of paradise show that truly has to be seen to be believed. The park also has a variety of amenities, such as an on-site restaurant, a diverse souvenir shop, and a quirky photo booth. As such, guests are guaranteed to have a comprehensive and extensive day out during their time here. Slide and Splash Waterpark is situated just over 10-minutes away.
Zoo-Marine and Amusement Park is another highly-regarded tourist attraction and can be found around half an hour away from the centre of Carvoeiro. This park blends exhilarating water rides with incredible ecosystems, meaning that guests can splash around and learn more about wildlife at their own pace. The water section of this park hosts a collection of activities, such as an extensive wave pool as well as an aquatic-themed playground. The wildlife section is home to 20 different ecosystems, such as sea lions, seals, and birds of prey. In addition, this park also contains a variety of shops and restaurants, meaning that guests can pick up a few souvenirs to commemorate their time at this fantastic attraction.
If you are looking to capture a series of awe-inspiring panoramic views, a trip to Alfanzina Lighthouse is an ideal way to do so. This incredible was first constructed in 1920 and was fitted with a bright flashing light. This light is used to guide fishermen toward sought-after fish such as squid. Guests are encouraged to take a short walk to the top of this landmark and bask in the amazing views that surround them. The lighthouse also allows guests to go inside but only in the small time frame of Wednesdays from 2 pm till 5 pm. Alfanzina Lighthouse is located just under 15-minutes away.

Perfect holiday!
Villa Moinhos was perfect for our group of 7. The location at Carvoeiro next to the sea was magic. The house has a calm neighbourhood, and all the items were high quality and modern. You will have all the comfort you need for perfect holidays.

Very well stocked kitchen with all sorts of appliances and equipment. Outdoor area has lots of space and some inflatables/balls etc which were great. Pool a good size and quite deep on one end. Comfy beds and good air conditioning. Area was nice and quiet at night.

Superb villa
This villa was absolutely perfect for our two families, 4 adults and 4 children. The layout of the outside areas worked fantastically for us, plenty of shaded areas to eat and sun loungers dotted around. The grass area was fab for the boys footie and morning work outs.
The cleanliness was over and above our expectations, the bathrooms are new and well thought out. Comfortable beds with bed linen that was clean and crisp. The kitchen is very well equipped, we loved the array of glasses in the wooden cabinet, we even added to it!
It’s a short walk (10 mins) down into Carvoeiro, and if you don’t fancy the uphill walk back a taxi was about €4.
A superb villa that catered for our every need, friends have asked for the details after seeing our pictures on social media but we are loathe to share this little gem!!
Host was always there to answer any queries we had during our stay – we couldn’t have asked for more.
