Villa Luminosa looks upon the surrounding landscape of the valley of Grotticelli Buonriposo, majestically perched with panoramic views of the countryside extending for miles. Beyond the fields, imperial mountains catch the sun, rising out from the calm waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. One commodious room functions as a kitchen and living area indoors. This creates a unique social atmosphere when preparing an evening meal, and thanks to the many windows which brighten the space, glimpses caught of the fantastic view outside offer constant reminders of the island’s magic. The bedrooms, a double and a twin, are cool and tastefully furnished, the window of the double looking out upon a distant mountain.

Outside, the villa comes into its own. A veranda with a quaint wooden bench provides a relaxing spot from which to take in the surroundings. An elegant stone patio engulfs the private swimming pool, which is shaded naturally in parts by nearby trees. A dry stone wall at the end of the pool and a stone BBQ by the veranda give these grounds a traditional rustic charm. Illuminated at night, the garden becomes dreamlike. The view also transforms, as lights from the nearby fishing village twinkle gently with the stars above them.
