Tenuta Corsari is a grand 19th-century villa, once owned by a local aristocratic family, now beautifully restored to preserve its original splendor while offering modern comforts. Set at the end of a sweeping gravel drive, the villa’s Italianate baroque façade is complemented by a tree-lined avenue and elegant wrought-iron gates.
Surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and pine, the villa provides a tranquil escape with a chic pool area shaded by trees and a serene patio with loungers and day-beds. The upper balcony offers stunning views of the open countryside and the Ionian shoreline, perfect for unwinding with a book or a glass of wine.
The villa accommodates up to ten guests in five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The interiors are a blend of original charm and contemporary luxury, featuring art-piece lighting, black-and-white photography, and sumptuous furnishings. High ceilings, marble floors, and antique banquettes create an elegant, welcoming atmosphere.

About the surrounding area of Tenuta CorsariTenuta Corsari is located just outside Nardò, a historic town on the Ionian coast of Salento, with local amenities and the beach just a short drive away (2 km). Nardò, rich in Baroque history, offers beautiful streets, alleys, and stunning historic buildings, largely untouched by tourists. Nearby, Punta della Suina and Baia Verde are popular beaches, while the natural reserve of Porto Selvaggio and Torre Colimena, known for its flamingos, are also close by.

For scuba diving and snorkelling, there are multiple water sports centres on both the Ionian and Adriatic coast. Underwater exploration is so accessible in the calm, warm seas of southern Italy.
Some of the wonderful family-friendly beaches include the glorious Baia Verde, just south of Gallipoli, where you will find soft sands and turquoise waters. You can also easily spend the day at beaches a little closer to the villa such as Frascone and Porto Selvaggio, both protected marine parks.
For a change of scene, head to Splash Gallipoli, around half an hour away, a large water park set in beautiful natural surroundings with plenty of pools and rides. There are several family-friendly restaurants on-site and shaded picnic area.
