Between Saint-Tropez and Hyères, only a short stroll from idyllic beaches and restaurants, this architect-designed villa on the French Riviera enjoys the most magnificent sea views. Sit out on a warm summer evening with an apéritif in hand and gaze out towards the Îles d'Hyères.
You can appreciate the vistas as soon as you walk into the top-level of the house with its two double en suite bedrooms both opening to the upper balcony overlooking the Mediterranean. The next level down is home to the stylish living space, modern kitchen and dining area, again leading out to a sea-facing balcony – such a scenic spot throughout the day, especially as the sky changes colour at night.
There is another double and a twin on this level, alongside a family shower room, whilst the fifth double bedroom can be found on the lower level near the swimming pool. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have Egyptian cotton bed linen whilst furnishings throughout are classic and contemporary. Other great features include TV with English/French channels and an Amazon Firestick, a DVD player, books and games as well as a sound system.
The Mediterranean garden is beautiful with terraces so perfectly positioned for those 180 degree sea vistas. Dine al-fresco beneath the shade, relax by the poolside bar or watch fellow guests enjoy the swimming pool as you sit back in the outdoor lounge. There is also a traditional boules court on the lower level.
Stroll down the winding lane to reach the coastal road which leads to a small handful of seasonal restaurants and a couple of gorgeous beaches, the nearest being a small and wild sandy bay with turquoise sea backed by rocks, reached via steps through the pine trees. Plage d'Aiguebelle is another picture-perfect place for swimming or sunbathing at one of the summer beachside restaurants.
The attractive seaside resort of Le Lavandou is only 5km away, loved for its authentic French Riviera charm, pretty fountains and more glorious beaches (especially loved by divers thanks to the clear water). Boat trips depart the marina towards the incredible Îles d'Hyères – a day trip to one of the islands is a must!
Elsewhere, venture along the coast to the pristine beaches and vineyards around La Croix Valmer, then continue to experience the glitz and glamour of Saint-Tropez and it’s iconic Plage de Pampelonne.
Closer to home, explore the medieval flower-filled lanes of Bormes-les-Mimosas, follow wonderful coastal and mountain hiking routes, hire bikes to cycle from beach to beach or just make the most of your stunning terraces facing the sea at your elegant Côte d’Azur holiday abode.

What you should know
Please note that air-conditioning is featured in the bedrooms only.
In a beautiful setting with sea-views, guests need to be able to manage many steps (the main entrance is on the top level).
Indeed, if travelling with young children then supervision is needed across the balconies, steps and terraced grounds.
It is great to be able to walk down the winding road (no pavement) towards the beach and seasonal restaurants - do note it's uphill on the way back (the views make it worth it)!

In the summer you can catch a boat to the wonderful Île de Porquerolles where you should hire bikes and cycle to your heart’s content passing olive groves, vineyards and eucalyptus trees to pristine beaches. Back on the mainland, keen walkers have a choice of hikes along the coast (Le Sentier des Douaniers) or through the Massif des Maures.
