Barbados
It’s hard to choose between the beautiful coral-dotted shores of Barbados, but if you’re travelling with kids, then Accra Beach has to be one of the best. There’s a specially designated area where little ones can paddle and gaze at the tiny fish swimming in the crystal clear waters, with shops, restaurants and everything else you could possibly need just a few metres from the shore.
St. Lucia
It’s not exactly a deserted paradise, but the huge selection of watersports at Reduit Beach will definitely keep the kids happy – they can choose between tubing, jet skiing, parasailing and kayaking.
Jamaica
Head to Reggae Beach for a fun-filled family day, where kids with too much energy for lazy sunbathing can enjoy dancing around to the live music that plays on the beach in the afternoon. Still something of a hidden gem, there’s always plenty of space here for each family to spread out and relax or run around as they choose. If your children are a little older, head down in the evenings to sit around a bonfire and sample grilled seafood straight from the ocean.
