Stay by the sea shore when you vacation in Hacienda Terramar, in Sitges, on Spain’s Mediterranean east coast. This stunning two storey, detached property has six spacious double bedrooms, and can comfortably accommodate up to fourteen guests, ideal for a fabulous large family holiday, or a group of friends’ get together. The villa is set in its own fenced in grounds, with manicured lawned gardens populated with tall shady palm trees, and a super long centrepiece private saltwater swimming pool. The property comes with all the mod cons, including complimentary air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout, smart televisions and a Sonos sound system, and private parking for two cars. The interiors cool and contemporary, with natural wood floors, and beamed ceilings, comfortable modern furniture, and the latest appliances, and decorated in a sophisticated colour palette of subtle neutral earth tones.

Enter the villa at ground floor level, where you will be welcomed into a light and airy furnished reception room. Leading off is an open plan living space, with a seating area that is furnished with an L-shaped wrap around sofa, coffee and side tables, a smart TV, and a fireplace for those cosy nights in. The black and white kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you will need to cater for your stay, with an adjacent ten seater dining set under a stylish chandelier, for some indoor entertaining. A laundry rooms leads off from the kitchen, fitted with a washing machine and tumble dryer. A guest cloakroom completes the daily living area.

There are three well-appointed double bedrooms on the ground floor. Bedroom 1 has a separate entrance, a double bed, and an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, ensuite bathroom and a sitting room with comfy sofas and a television. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have interconnecting doors to make a family suite. The third bedroom is a studio style suite with a double bed, ensuite bathroom, and a private entrance. Take the stairs to the upper floor where there is a master suite, with a large double bed, a safe, an ensuite bathroom, and access to a sea view roof terrace furnished with soft seating. There are two further bedrooms, both with twin beds, and a shared bathroom, with one of them having access to a private furnished terrace.

Step out into the gorgeous grounds and gardens, and have a proper swim in the twenty metre length saltwater swimming pool. Relax on the surrounding sun loungers, and swing the day away in one of the hammocks hung between the tall shady palm trees. Laze on the beautifully manicured lawns, before meeting for sun downers at the soft seating set. Dine alfresco under a Sitges sky at the eight seater set, and feast off dishes freshly grilled on barbecue.

Hacienda Terramar can be found just a stone's throw away from the beach in Terramar, an exclusive neighbourhood in Sitges. It’s a short twenty five minute drive from Barcelona International Airport to your holiday home, and a forty minute drive into the city of Barcelona. This second-line beach property is a gem and definitely a favourite amongst visitors to Sitges!

In the holiday hot spot of Sitges you will find everything you need to cater for your holiday, shops, stores, and daily markets, and a plethora of trendy cafes and bars, and international restaurants to please every palate. The best beaches are reputedly Playa de la Fragata, Ribera, and San Sebastian, with golden sands, crystal clear waters, and lively beachside bars, not to mention the watersports, including windsurfing, paddleboarding and kayaking. Keep fit with a game of golf on the nearby course, a set of tennis at the nearby court, or a hike over the surrounding hills on well-worn trails. All aboard for a boast trip around the Mediterranean coast for a day of sunbathing, swimming, and snorkelling.

For the culture vultures, Sitges has some notable churches, the Maricel and the Cau Ferrat Museums, and the Palau de Maricel. Explore the old town with its quaint narrow streets, and local restaurants. Go to Barcelona to see Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia cathedral, Park Guell, and Casa Batlo and Mila. Walk down the La Rambla, visit the Gothic Quarter, and the Miro and Picasso Museums. Venture further afield to the mountain range of Montserrat, the coastal city of Tarragona, and the Catalonian Cava Wineries.

As night falls dance until dawn in one of the many bars, clubs, and discos, and watch the sun rise!

The whole family will have a fabulous time when you stay in sunny Sitges, starting with the villa and your own private pool, where they can swim and splash all day, and the garden where they can safely play. The nearest beach is almost on your doorstep in the holiday hot spot of Sitges, where they can build sandcastles and swim in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Highly recommended as being especially family-friendly, with amenities and attractions are, Les Botigues, Fragata, San Sebastian, and Balmins beaches. The older kids will love a game of beach volleyball, swimming and snorkelling in the sea, and windsurfing, paddleboarding, and kayaking above the waves, whilst all the family will enjoy a day at sea, as you cruise around the coast.

Ride a bike around the dedicated coastal path, ride a horse, play a game of tennis, and have fun at the mini golf. The Parc de Can Robert is great for younger children with playgrounds and picnic areas. Take a short drive to Illa Fantasia Water Park for some swimming pools with slippy slides for children and adults of all ages.

Spend the day in the city of Barcelona, visit the famous football stadium, take a stroll through Guell park, walk down La Rambla, see the Sagrada Familia cathedral, bathe on the beach, and dine on tapas by the sea shore.

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €2000 paid via bank transfer to the owner before arrival or via cash upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 4 pm. Late check-ins from 8pm – 12pm or on Sundays anytime will incur a charge of €40 per villa. Check-in after midnight any day will incur a charge of €75 per villa.
Departure time 11 am.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Pool towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
End of stay cleaning included? Extra €350, paid to OT with the balance. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet connection included in the rental price.
Minimum stay 3 nights during low season. 7 nights all other times.
Changeover day Saturday during peak season. Flexible during other periods.
Pets welcome? On request only and with prior agreement with the owner. If accepted, a pet supplement of €100 per pet per stay will apply (paid locally).
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & vaping are not permitted.
Pool heating charge? For those who require pool heating, there will be an additional charge of €250 (to be paid locally on arrival). This extra is only available on request, and with prior arrangement before arrival. Please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures.
Tax Tourist Tax of €1 per person per night for over 16's (max €7 per person) is not included in the rental price and will need to be paid locally in cash on arrival.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
