As soon as you step inside Villa Canutell, you'll be transported to a world of luxury and elegance. The dazzling white decor and colourful contemporary artworks create an eclectic, bohemian feel, and the three lounge areas provide guests plenty of space and privacy. The spacious dining room and well-equipped kitchen make indoor meals a breeze, with a large wooden table accommodating up to thirteen guests.
Each of the six bedrooms is elegantly decorated with a light, fresh feel and features private bathroom facilities, ensuring everyone has the space and comfort they need. The first floor has three bedrooms - two doubles and a twin - while the second floor features another double bedroom and a twin room that can be converted into a double. Each bedroom showcases magnificent views of the island and ocean, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
When it's time to venture outside, Villa Canutell's private gardens, furnished terraces, and spectacular ocean views provide the perfect backdrop for relaxation, conversation, and breathtaking sunsets. A covered terrace with sea views is ideal for relaxation, and an outdoor dining area is adjacent to the kitchen for enjoying alfresco meals with the whole family. The grounds also include beautifully maintained lawns and a large private pool - easily accessible for guests of all ages via Roman steps - and are surrounded by luxurious loungers and parasols.

About the surrounding area of Villa CanutellVilla Canutell enjoys a prestigious location on the southeast of the island, just a ten-minute drive from the island's capital Mahon, and a fifteen-minute walk from the cove of Es Canutells. This quiet, pretty resort is perfect for those seeking rest and relaxation and can be reached by foot directly from the villa. Here you'll find a small but beautiful beach sheltered by low cliffs and surrounded by caves that once served as storage areas for local fishermen. The sands are soft and golden, and the water is calm and crystal-clear, making it an excellent choice for families with children who will enjoy many happy hours paddling and building sandcastles. The coves and inlets are ideal for snorkelling. You might spot exotic polka dot cardinalfish and neon damselfish, as well as the opportunity to explore some of the undersea caves in the area.
The beach is the main draw of this charming resort, with few other tourist attractions. Still, you will find a local mini market and a choice of restaurants around the harbour - all offering delicious local fare and amazing sea views.

THE REGION
The quiet and idyllic resort of Binibeca is a very popular smaller resort on the beautiful south coast of Menorca and is a perfect choice for holidaymakers wanting to escape the noise and crowds of other more developed areas. You will not find any skyline-destroying hotels or large holiday complexes here, most accommodations being in private villas and apartments.
Today, Binibeca stretches 3 km along the coast and includes the original ‘Binibèquer Vell’, or an old portion, as well as the new portion of ‘Binibèquer Nou’- a natural progression with many of the homes and villas in keeping with the original design. At the very eastern point of Binibeca, you will also find Cala Torret, a small village which feels separate but is actually part of it.

Best Suited For: All AgesWith its spacious grounds and quiet location, Villa Canutell is a great accommodation choice for a family holiday with the kids. There's plenty of room here for larger groups, with additional lounge areas offering privacy to individual families when needed, but lots of indoor and outdoor space for everyone to dine and relax together. The villa has a mix of twin and double rooms, making it easy to sort out sleeping arrangements for the kids, and a cot (and highchair!) are available on request for the youngest guests. Familiar home comforts include a selection of books, TV and WiFi - perfect for keeping the kids entertained while the adults prepare food or plan the day ahead, and of course, the private pool is sure to be a big hit! The water is easily accessible via Roman steps rather than a ladder, making it easier for guests of all ages to get in and out of the water. It's worth noting that the pool is located in the part of the garden farthest away from the villa, down some stone steps, and is unfenced, so the little ones must be well-supervised.
The surroundings are wonderfully private and secure, so parents can relax knowing that the kids can explore the gardens and play in relative safety - bearing in mind that there are several areas accessible by stone steps, and a small fountain that could be hazardous to very young children, so caution is advised.
Guests at Villa Canutells have private access to a sandy beach with clear waters, perfect for a family day out. The beach also offers opportunities for snorkelling and kayaking. A local mini-market and restaurants are available for self-catering and traditional dishes. The island capital of Mahon is a short drive away, offering attractions such as beaches, boat tours, zoos, and museums suitable for children of all ages.
