Based inland, in the north of Mallorca, and sympathetically refurbished to a high standard, Casa De Vent offers the best of both worlds – a beautiful rural setting and easy access to the local amenities of Sa Pobla and Pollensa. The property is perfect for honeymooners seeking a post-nuptial oasis of calm or anyone simply seeking a restful and relaxing escape. This place is really hard to beat!
Décor is modern and light while at the same time retaining the feel of a traditional countryside property with beamed ceiling and terracotta tiles. Both inside and out, the attention to detail is impressive with comfort and convenience having clearly been given priority. Selected thoughtful touches include a trendy neutral colour design, mosaic-tiled walk-in shower, Wi-Fi, Smart TV,  and air conditioning throughout.
The open plan living area consists of sofa chaise longue, wall-mounted TV, dining table and fully equipped kitchenette, leading on to the double bedroom and separate shower room, all separated by partitions. Externally you will find a wide sun furnished terrace that leads onto an elaborately designed private swimming pool (8 x 4m) with jacuzzi section and roman steps. Between the decked balcony and swimming pool you will find a sauna with is perfect for finishing off the day after soaking up the sun. The poolside pergola offers extra shade and comfortable sun loungers which just adds to the comforts that this property has to offer.

From the decked balcony you can admire the craggy peaks of the Tramuntana mountains which dominate the near distance. Sit back on the top deck balcony and watch the innumerable changes of colours over the rockface during the sunset.

While this area is undoubtedly rural, there are still good amenities very close at hand in the town of Sa Pobla and Pollensa. Bakery's, butchers, supermarkets and café bars can all be found just a short drive away. A little further afield you will find the popular 16km beach of Playa de Muro and its sweeping sandy beaches. The capital of Palma is only a 40-minute drive away and is definitely worth a visit.

The inviting town of Sa Pobla (2.7m) is centrally located towards the north of Mallorca. Situated inland and slightly away from the coast, the town lays adjacent to many of the island’s attractions and sites. With a population currently standing at just over 12,000, Sa Pobla is considerably larger than many of the rural villages in Mallorca. You are sure to be impressed at the warmth and hospitality that is all too typical of a Mallorcan inland town.

Sa Pobla makes an ideal base for a holiday as it is conveniently located for all surrounding areas and activities, e.g. Pollensa (14km), Alcudia (15km), Campanet (9km) and Muro (5.3km). Catering to visitors of all tastes, this area of outstanding natural beauty enables the tourists to immerse themselves in Mallorca’s rich natural heritage.

For keen golfers, the nearest golf course is located in Pollensa (11.5km) and is perfect for a day on the golf course with an option of 9 or 18 holes.

The local markets:

Sa Pobla market is on Sunday morning, and this is the local farmer’s market with fruit and vegetable stall with freshly harvested produce brought straight from the fields.

The Market of Alcudia (15km) is on Tuesdays and Sundays and boasts a spectacular setting. The high old walls of the old town and the pretty town centre are worth a visit, but there is much more to see on market day.

Sa Pobla is a small municipality with around 12,000 inhabitants, which is situated in the centre of Mallorca, between Inca and Alcúdia. Sa Pobla is known for its agriculture and the humble potato, in particular, gets a lot of attention here as it is exported to many countries and a festival is even held in its honour each year.

The town of Sa Pobla is partly on the Albufera nature reserve (Parc natural de s'Albufera de Mallorca), a protected wetland area. The nature reserve is particularly good for bird watching as well as hikes and walks.


Best Suited For: All Ages

Casa de Vent sleeps 2 and is ideal for a couple but a small child, in a cot, can be accommodated on request. The property has wifi and smart TV with some English speaking channels. A cot and high chair are available on request. The garden is a wonderful place for a small child to enjoy hours of fun and has shaded areas for the little ones to keep out of the midday sun.

Take a picnic and plenty of sun hats/shade/sun protection and enjoy the fine white sands and crystal clear water of Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa. Both family beaches with lots of water sport activities and cycling lanes, if you wish to hire bikes and cycle to them.

Enjoy family walks through the local villages and beyond, following sign-posted trails. Horse-riding, paddling, swimming and snorkelling are activities available in the nearby coastal towns. Boat trips can be taken from the nearby beach points or marinas offering day trips to the prestige area of Formentor or maybe a fishing trip. Boat trips run several times a day, so choose the best time for you and your family and choose the departure location of Puerto Pollensa or Alcudia.

Security deposit €300 paid via bank transfer to the owner before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

Pool towels included? No.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included.
Minimum stay 7 nights. All other durations on request.

    The house is in very good condition. Unfortunately we couldn't use the pool due to it being early in the year to use. The landlords are super friendly and live in the immediate vicinity, not overlooked. You can be in the city or on the highway in 2 minutes. We used the sauna every day and really enjoyed.

    In March we had 6 wonderful days in the great Finca with a super outdoor area, which is really designed with a lot of love and small details! We didn't want for anything. It's very quiet and you're totally undisturbed. Ideal for 2 people. There are 2 supermarkets in the immediate vicinity, which makes the supply very uncomplicated. The warm and uncomplicated landlords are to be particularly emphasized, who are immediately on the spot with small problems. We'd like to come back.

    We were in this wonderful finca from 6th to 20th August 2018 and felt comfortable from the very first moment. We were received very nicely by Caty and looked after by whatsapp. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and therefore had an excellent rest. Because of the proximity to a supermarket you have everything you need to take care of yourself. A car or scooter is indispensable, but that's what you need anyway to explore the island. All in all, the holiday was almost perfect.

    We had 6 wonderful days in the finca "Casa de Vent". If you want to relax and leave the stress of everyday life behind you, you are exactly right. Although it was quite hot during the week, the finca offers plenty of opportunities to stay in the shade. Otherwise one keeps it thanks to the air conditioning in the house. The finca offers enough recreational opportunities, so you never get bored. All tip top, we'll definitely be back! :)

    Small but nice is the perfect expression for this finca. The functional equipment allows for a self-sufficiency if necessary. The location is quiet and completely isolated from all sides, which has made a great contribution to our recovery. Nevertheless, shopping facilities are easily accessible by car. The exterior and interior of the finca are very lovingly designed and the pool with integrated jets forms an additional highlight. Everything worked out great on site, we were able to move into the farm already in the morning and stay longer on the day of departure, which we greatly appreciated. During our stay, our supervisor was very discreet, so we did not notice the waste disposal or other maintenance work. All in all we had a relaxing, quiet and wonderful vacation.
