Finca Onatilo is situated just under 10 minutes from the centre of Pollensa, a region well recognised for its amicable culture and riveting landmarks. If you wish to learn more about this region from a much more personal perspective, a trip to the Pollensa Market is a must-do activity. This market is home to over 300 stalls, all presenting a collection of local goods such as artisan bags, clothes, and jewellery. Guests can also purchase a plethora of native produce, meaning they can use fresh fruits and vegetables in their cooking back at the villa. The Pollensa Market is just over 5 minutes away from the villa and welcomes guests every Sunday from 8 am to 1:30 pm.
For avid history lovers, Placa de l'Almonia offers guests the chance to enter the region's archaic legacy. This quaint square is home to a house that was once run by a group of university students as a way to serve the needs of the area's poorest citizens. In addition to this kind gesture, this attraction was also used as a battleground on the 15th of May 1550, when a rowdy group of violent ambushers decided to attack the defenceless citizens. The modern citizens also conduct a moving ceremony every August to help commend their bravery. Placa de l'Almonia can be found just under 10 minutes away from Finca Onatilo.
Alzinaret Caves is one of the area's most insightful attractions, located around 15 minutes from the villa. Though these caves were first uncovered in 1927, experts believe they could date back to 1600 BC, making them an unmissable landmark for those who wish to discover more about the nuances of the Middle Bronze Age. For guests who are uncomfortable entering the caves, a collection of benches can be found just outside the entrance. As such, it is also a suitable attraction for those who would rather just sit back and watch the world go by.
