A colourful garden with mountain views and a fantastic infinity pool are just two of the highlights of Pollença’s Casa Morena. Also incorporating a unique poolside casita with kitchen and diner, this 5-bedroom villa is a great family destination in Mallorca’s beautiful north-east.

Around 4km from the beach, it’s easy to access the white sands of Puerto Pollença from Casa Morena. There is a lot to keep you happy at the villa too, with the 8 x 4.5m pool and sun lounger-lined terrace just part of the story. You also have table tennis, a barbecue and a traditional Mallorcan bread oven, plus a covered patio with plenty of seating looking out on the pool and private gardens. A Japanese-style bridge spans a lily pond, and the lawns give children lots of room to run and play.

Stepping inside, the living area is open-plan and has a TV, DVD, music system and Wi-Fi. Wooden furnishings and chunky beams denote the dining area, and a fitted kitchen with marble worktops and a host of appliances leads directly out to the gardens again.

With three doubles and two twins, Casa Morena offers lots of sleeping options, as well as a total of five bathrooms. The master bedroom and a twin room have access to a vast sun terrace, as well as their en suites.

The casita is an extraordinary addition to the house, which may act as the centre for entertaining or dining as well as the dining area and kitchen, equipped with an electric oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and more, it has a guest shower room and utility room too. Sliding doors lead you straight to the pool, making this a great spot to relax all day long.

Pollença is one of the region’s most charming towns, located in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. This villa is only around 2.5km from its restaurants and shops, many of which you will find clustered around its pretty main square.

Pollença is an attractive town in north-east Mallorca, in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. The neighbouring port lies to the north and has one of the area’s best beaches, with numerous bars and restaurants to explore in the vicinity.
Just down the coast, Alcúdia has a large marina, serving as a boarding point for boat trips to Menorca and the Spanish mainland. There are activities for all ages in Alcúdia, with a water-park for the children and a popular golf course just outside the town.
Many beautiful places can be found in the surrounding area, such as the Natural Park S’Albufera, the largest of its kind in the Balearics. Pollença is easily accessible, with Palma de Mallorca Airport around 60km away.

THE REGION

Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.

The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town.
