Villa Vazquez

Set in the countryside of Paderne, this is a beautifully restored 300-year-old farmhouse combining traditional Galician charm with modern comfort. Once home to the Count of the Maza and now a residence of designer Jorge Vázquez, it offers a stylish, peaceful retreat.

Beautiful, extremely well-appointed house with every amenity we needed

Lovely and warm, underfloor heating was great in late October. Very clean, loads of space, great TVs and huge kitchen. Comfy beds. We were very happy to spend time in such lovely luxurious surroundings.

Set in the quiet countryside of Paderne, A Coruña, Villa Vazquez is a beautifully restored 300-year-old farmhouse that blends traditional Galician architecture with modern comfort. Once home to the Count of the Maza and now the second residence of fashion designer Jorge Vázquez, the property offers guests a stylish and peaceful escape.

Inside, the villa is spread across two open-plan floors. Four en-suite bedrooms provide privacy and space, including a generous presidential suite with its own lounge and garden views. The interiors are carefully designed, with handcrafted textiles, curated decor, and a mix of characterful living spaces—from the tea room and reading lounge to the main living room with fireplace and gallery access. A professional-grade kitchen is fully equipped for everything from casual meals to private dining experiences.

Outside, the large private garden is divided into several areas across different levels, ideal for relaxing or entertaining. There’s a pool with sun loungers and a shaded seating area, a traditional wooden gallery that opens onto the garden, and a covered outdoor dining space that connects directly to the kitchen. With room for up to four vehicles and the flexibility to host small private events, the villa works just as well for special gatherings as it does for quiet getaways.
