An expansive and far-reaching property based in Formentera, Villa Ingenia offers a landscape that seems to span as far as the eye can see. The exterior of this property is characterised by a considerable swimming pool that is filled to the brim with refreshingly cool water. As a result, guests are free to cool off and recharge their batteries at any point throughout their stay. This property is also home to an incredible selection of outdoor terraces, allowing guests to indulge in a collection of exciting al fresco dining experiences as they capture the awe-inspiring views that sit before them.
 
Despite its slightly rustic exterior, the interior of this property is teeming with simplistic decors to help create a deeply contemporary and stylish holiday home. The living area hosts a vast L-shaped sofa that has been expertly decorated with a series of plump grey scatter cushions. In turn, guests are encouraged to use this space in whichever way they choose, lounging on the vast seating arrangement as they binge-watch their favourite shows on the flatscreen TV found at the back of the room. The dining room adheres to a very similar theme, showcasing a striking white table with an accompanying set of matching chairs. As such, guests can use this space to delve into a collection of amazing meals as well as some quality time together as a family. The kitchen within this property is nothing short of pure perfection, sporting a premium selection of bright white cupboards and surfaces, helping to create a sense of impeccable cohesion throughout the entire holiday home. Villa Ingenia can be found just 15 minutes away from the bustling centre of Formentera, ensuring that they can immerse themselves in the riveting local culture whenever they choose. Alongside its tremendous selection of landmarks, this region is also commended for its transformative food scene. One of the area’s most popular cuisines is seafood, allowing guests to experience a range of fresh and locally sourced dishes throughout their holiday. Peix Sec de Formentera is a native delicacy that makes good use of large pieces of skate that have been hung on some of the many Sabina trees found throughout this area. As such, this dried fish is a perfect menu item for those looking to leap out of their comfort zones and try something new.
 
If you are looking to embark on a truly mesmerising underwater experience during your time on holiday, a trip to The Don Pedro Wreck is a must-do activity. This inviting cargo ship stretches an impressive 140 metres long and is not surrounded by alluring rock formations and coral. Despite its expansive history, this ship has still managed to maintain a wealth of its original fixtures, giving guests a truly authentic sightseeing experience. Guests will be given a full safety briefing as well as a range of specialist equipment to help them observe this monument in a more intimate and detailed way. These scuba diving tours are conducted by Vellmari, which is situated around 15 minutes away from the villa.
 
La Savina is a quaint fishing village that can be found just over 10 minutes away from Villa Ingenia. Since this is the first village people see when they first enter the region, it has become a popular tourist destination for avid explorers. This village is characterised by its considerable marina, making it a must-see location for active sailors. Together with its tame atmosphere, this location is home to a wide selection of local restaurants and quirky shops. In turn, guests are encouraged to indulge in an exquisite meal as they gaze out at the idyllic sight of the fishing boats as they glide along the calm water.

THE REGION

With a plethora of vibrant stalls to discover, this market focuses on the importance of local artists and works to promote a range of artisan pieces and crafts. As such, this is a great place to visit if you wish to uncover the true nuances of this area from a much more personal perspective. The Sant Francesc Xavier Market can be found just over 10 minutes away from Villa Ingenia and welcomes guests every Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm.
 
This region is constantly praised for its wide variety of impeccable beaches, such as Es Migjorn beach. Celebrated as the longest beach in the entire of Formentera, guests are free to marvel at the wide stretches of soft white sand and endless views of the sapphire blue sea. In turn, this is an ideal landmark to visit if you are eager to let go of the stressors of normal life and truly appreciate the relaxing sights and smells that surround them. Once you have taken the time to explore everything that this astounding beach has to offer, be sure to take a walk into the local town. During your time here, you will come across a selection of energetic bars and restaurants, allowing you to enjoy a delicious meal before returning back to the beach for more fun. Es Migjorn beach is based just under 20 minutes away from the villa.
 
One of the area’s most significant landmarks is Cap de Barbaria, which is located just under 15 minutes away from Villa Ingenia. Reaching heights of 100 metres above sea level, this looming lighthouse acts as a key centrepiece throughout the entire region. Lovers of foreign films will recognise this landmark from the cult classic Lucia y el Sexo as is depicted in Julio Medem’s iconic photograph. Thus, guests now have the chance to explore the origins of this area from a much more modern perspective. Guests must take a trip inside the lighthouse to observe its crucial inner workings and to bask in the panoramic views that can be seen from the very top of the monument.
