A private infinity pool looking out over the Balearic Sea is just one of many attractions at this wonderfully appointed Costa Brava villa. With room enough for ten guests in its five bedrooms, the house is located between Sa Tuna and the pretty village of Begur, where the local beaches are reckoned to be among the best in the country.

This south-facing villa gets the best of the sun all day long, and its location affords it a high degree of privacy too. Mild winters and long, hot summers offer visitors to this sought-after corner of Catalonia the best of both worlds, and the villa’s expansive outdoor space includes a magnificent poolside terrace with sun loungers and dining area.

Another cute covered dining spot, complete with barbecue, is bound to become a favourite – offering a little shade and a rustic touch. A roof terrace looking straight out to the ocean provides a great setting for drinking and talking long into the evening.

Inside, the 100sq metre living and dining area with large plate glass windows is accompanied by a well-equipped American-style kitchen. The main part of the villa has two suites with private bathroom and dressing room, and a further two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Downstairs, an independent apartment offers up a further bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area.
Begur’s bars and restaurants provide the perfect introduction to Catalonian cuisine, with several clustered around the village’s main square. In addition to many hearty fish and seafood dishes, you should also have no trouble finding some local wine to try – the area is full of vineyards.

Secluded Sa Tuna beach and those of nearby Llafranc and Tamariu are all worth a visit, with the botanical gardens of Cap Roig just a little further down the coast. Inland, Palafrugell town is only 8km away and is a good place to head for shopping… if you can tear yourself away from this stunning sea-view villa.

Sa Tuna is a quaint whitewashed fishing village, just a short drive north-east of Begur. The winding road down to the gravel beach, surrounded by whitewashed houses, and dotted with fishing boats bobbing in the shallow crisp clear waters, is a picture postcard setting.  

A local restaurant, bar and a bakery give this coastal village a very sleepy feel.  The coastal path invites you to explore by foot the rocky coastline north towards D’Aiguafreda.  However, it is the secluded beach of S’Eixugador, only accessible by boat, that is the hidden gem.  The shallow turquoise water is a welcome reprieve after the exhilarating walk south from Sa Tuna.   

For the more adventurous, visit the narrow-cobbled streets of Begur.  The choice of restaurants, eateries and bars along with the eclectic array of shops, are a charming distraction.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit Credit card details are required 2 weeks prior to departure for pre-authorisation.
Arrival time 4 pm.
Departure time 10 am.
End of stay cleaning included? Extra €250, payable to Oliver's Travels with the balance payment. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in the rental price.
